Catholics: If You Can’t Beat It, Exploit It…

For many months the Roman Catholic church has alternately derided and ignored The Da Vinci Code, but in England and Wales it now appears to have decided that if you can't beat it, you should at least exploit it.

In his novel the American author Dan Brown reworks an old tale that St Mary Magdalene married Christ and conceived his child. But today, the saint's feast day, the church launches a website dedicated to St Mary Magdalene, specifically for fans of the ubiquitous novel.
