Colin Powell: "Leadership Is All About Followership"...

Former Secretary of State Colin Powell blended business with diplomacy Tuesday to describe the characteristics of good leaders.

The retired Army general detailed these qualities as he explained the United States' role in world affairs during a speech at Oklahoma City's Civic Center Music Hall.

... "Leadership is all about followership," Powell said.

Effective leaders are able to get the most out of the people following them, he said, by putting them in a position to succeed with the tools they need to do their job.
