Rudy Giuliani has overtaken Senator John McCain in the betting odds for the 2008 GOP nomination, for the first time since 2004.

McCain's probability of success has dropped 35% since December 2006, while former New York mayor Giuliani's odds are at an all-time high, according to Intrade Political.

McCain has squandered a 45% lead over Giuliani.
