White House Press Secretary Tony Snow gave a briefing this afternoon on the administration's testimony offer in the US attorney firings scandal. Reporters repeatedly asked Snow why the White House refused to allow a transcript. Snow responded, "What do you gain from a transcript? The answer is, not much."
