Largest US Firefighters Union Attacks Giuliani In 13-Minute Video
In a video that is by turns emotional, scathing and at times factually incomplete, the nation's largest firefighters union is appealing to its members across the country not to support the candidacy of Rudolph W. Giuliani.
The video by the International Association of Fire Fighters, called "Rudy Giuliani: Urban Legend," strikes directly at the heart of the Giuliani campaign for President: his leadership of New York City after the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, in which hundreds of firefighters died. The union, which has often backed Democratic candidates, hopes the video will be more widely disseminated to the general public through the Internet.
