Vetting The YouTube Debate Questions

O.K., one more post-mortem on the YouTube-CNN debate, but this one delves into issues you may not have read elsewhere.

David Bohrman, the Washington bureau chief of CNN, was the chief person who coordinated last night's YouTube debate, which was broadcast on CNN, and helped pick the video questions. He said he was pretty happy with the way things turned out.

"The energy in the hall was unbelievable," he said of the debate stage at The Citadel, in Charleston, S.C. "I think it really worked."

Mr. Bohrman, along with Anderson Cooper, the moderator, and various researchers and producers, sorted through more than 3,000 videos over the last few days. Hundreds came in after the Sunday deadline, and four of those late-arrivals actually made it to air. (So much for rules.)
