Clinton Edges Out Huckabee For Arkansas Gov's Endorsement

Arkansas Deocrat Gazette:

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton told a crowd of supporters in Little Rock on Monday that she still feels a strong connection to the state where she spent 12 years as first lady, and she vowed to win its support in her presidential campaign.

"I intend to campaign throughout Arkansas," Clinton said. "I'm going to go throughout the state, with the governor, with my friends, taking the message of change and experience throughout this state, just like Iam throughout this country."

Now what does this tell us about the general election, that in her own state where she is the most well known she barely edges out a fruit loop whack job like Huckelberry..!

I don't think the Democratic governor of Arkansas was going to endorse a Republican even if he was the former governor of the state so this hardly comes as a surprise.

I agree with your assesment. I had thought the current Gov. was a Republican. It would have definately provided more of a boost to her campaign. As it would say, she is not that polarizing afterall.
