C'mon Sally, you are just being bashful. In my opinion, women only grow more beautiful with age. At 60 years of age, Sally Field is a very beautiful woman.

Sally, you look great. It's our ageist culture (especially where you are - having just come from that culture!) that makes anyone over fifty think our beauty and attractiveness are over.

There is beauty in getting older if we can just see it and honor it.

She is the only well known actor who has not done anything to her face, and she simply looks fantastic.I just wish she says it with some pride and stops putting herself down, that indirecly puts down all the others, who decides not to. Does this kind of talk means she is going to srtetch her skin and puff up her lips ?

I never thought I'd say this, but "Damn! Dog poop looks good!"

Sad but true, I mean about how a woman looks when getting old. It begins with menopause-- your looks go swiftly downhill from there. It's true! OK, maybe you're wiser, but you still don't get a kick out of looking in the mirror. I am 55. I still feel the same INSIDE as when I was 16, so it is a shock when I accidentally catch sight of myself, and I am told I look good "for my age." Blech. Getting old sucks and I don't blame Sally for being honest about it. If you don't believe me, get to be 55 and stand next to a 30 year old in front of a mirror. You will want to puke.

So now this will be her quote instead of 'you like me you really like me' huh?

BTW she does look pretty good, but of course let's remember she has the means to look that way.
I dunno if she's admitted to plastic surgery but I did see her on an AM chat show once and she looked pretty bad, but now it seems like she's been using that CEF formula, and of course hair coloring by a pro I'm sure as well as her 1 a month Boniva (that she probably gets free), once from her Gidget days she wore a short dress to an awards show and it showed how bowlegged she was, I dunno if she had that fixed but ya notice they have never photoed her full length unless it's in a long dress or pants and seldom show her walking to the camera-think about it, it's true.

I want to know what she's feeding her dog, so I can feed mine some.

Well, if she thinks she looks like dog poop, then she does. I'm not going to try and stroke the egos of these overrated, overpaid, overcoddled overachievers any more. I mean, god, what more does she want out of life? She's had more than her fair share. If that's not enough for her, then I can't help her.

What kind of message is this to send to women creeping up on 50? We may not look as good as our 20ish counterparts but I bet we are a hell of alot smarter and that is what should count in the end.
