Angelina Jolie is in Iraq to witness firsthand the humanitarian crisis there, the United Nations Refugee Agency UNHCR has announced.
The actress and UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador, 32, flew from New York to Syria on Monday. In Damascus, she visited a UNHCR registration center and spend hours talking to Iraqi refugees in their homes.

God bless her soul!. She is being 'used' to present a better image of the UN. A UN emasculated by Bush and his coalition of the dummies and their illegal/pre-emptive war on Iraqand the innocent women and children.
Bush now wants to pawn off the mess they created onto the UN. However all the King's men and a 100 Angelina(s) will not put Iraq together again. Bless Angelina's HEART though for risking her life and going.

I'm just trying to figure out which came first, the ugly or the jealousy.
Why doesn't she stay home and take care of her kids? They have everything money can buy - except stability. Dragged all over the world, picked up for "photo ops" Wait till they are teenagers, then she will wish she had spent more time with them. Stop the Mother Teresa act, and concentrate on those children.
It seems that reports of Brangelina's expeditions occur at least a weekly.
If so, they should slow down and spend more time with the kids.
Don't be surprised, though, if several years down the road these travels lead to a state house, Congress, the Senate, and the Presidency.
Oh please. Those kids are ridiculously lucky and are more likely to turn-out healthy and happy, while also valuing humanitarian endeavors, than the vast majority of people in this country, and certainly in this world.
