On the August 28 edition of MSBNC Live, hosted by MSNBC general manager Dan Abrams, Tucker Carlson, host of MSNBC's Tucker, asserted, "Having sex in a public men's room is outrageous. It's also really common. I've been bothered in men's rooms." Carlson continued, "I've been bothered in Georgetown Park," in Washington, D.C., "when I was in high school." When Abrams asked how Carlson responded to being "bothered," Carlson asserted, "I went back with someone I knew and grabbed the guy by the -- you know, and grabbed him, and ... hit him against the stall with his head, actually."

You response was the appropriate one and I done precisely the same thing on several occasions. Anger or affrontery never entered my mind. I suppose that some men feel it is an affront to their masculinity to be propositioned by another man. Could such behavior demonstrate blatant insecurity with one's own sexuality I wonder?

YES, the point is, don't mess with me in the bathroom. making a pass in the produce isle is one thing, No Thanks. But if you proposition me for sex in the bathroom, it's no different for a guy to walk into a girls bathroom and proposition a female for sex, she pulls out her mace and he gets a face full. And kids should be able to go into bathrooms without having to read WMBDBJ18-40 and asking Dad to explain it, or other explicit suggestions. This has nothing to do with it being a same sex advance, it's a sexual proposition in an area that has certain rules that you cross at your own peril. But nobody cared 2 months ago when Scarborough said Justin Timberlake was trying to act black, and in high school, that's the type of guy that would have got his ass kicked personally by JOE. I have no desire to beat up gays. I live in the Soulard neighborhood of St. Louis. It is very gay. I would say upword of about 30%.

My particular condominium complex is about 75% gay.

I haven't had the desire to beat any of them. I call them friends, neighbors and business associates.

One thing I don't do, which you could learn from, is make judgements as to the sexual orientation of others based solely off of one comment in a blog.

Does anyone else pick up on Tucker's double standard? He was all about impeaching Clinton for getting a consentual blow-job from an adult female in a private location (like you can get into the oval office uninvited!). Americans must be saved from that disgraceful behavior! Impeach! Impeach!

Now that the scandals are hitting from the Republican party, we aren't supposed to be worried about the private lives of politicians according to Tucker Carlson. Whether it's Foley, Vitter, or Craig, they have a right to privacy. When it's Clinton, no privacy right. Right? The hypocrisy of the GOP has never been more apparent!

And none of my gay friends would find Tucker the least bit attractive, so I'm thinking it was an attempted mugging rather than an attempted rape in that bathroom.
