I hope Tony will be able to spend some good quality time with his family. He will be sorely missed by this administration.

(Look who's taking over, the public melter)...

I've never been a fan of Tony Snow but I'm saddened to see his deterioration. You can't fault him for his beliefs even if he doesn't agree with most of us. He was doing a job, that's all, and one that he did believe in. I wish him well as he moves on and continues his uphill struggle against such a deadly disease.

Shame you got the cancer. Shame you lied to the bitter end. Toodles, Little Goebbels.

Hello people, and I use the word loosely. The majority of you seem to think that Tony Snow is the basis of evil in all the world. But it appears to this lowly observer that many of you are just eeeeeeeeeeevil. You have no original thoughts, just hate, in your vitriolic tiny government educated brains. You wouldn't know a real original idea if it came up and bit you on the ass.
You can call me any name you want to. I have been called worse than anything you can come up with. I was in basic training in the Army before it became a glorified Summer camp. I have heard the best a Drill Sergeant can dish out. You all are just immature pissants.

All of those virulent and hateful statements about Tony Snow don't lead to justice. They lead to vigilantism and make us no different than those we purport to abhor.

Two wrongs don't make a right.

Disclaimer: I dislike all that Tony and his ilk stand for. And I believe we must live our values or else be buried by them.

So Tony goes from White House spokesman paid by the taxpayers to White House spokesman paid by FOX Opinion Channel. A lateral move for Snow, but a boon for taxpayers. Now we can take his $168,000 yearly salary and spend it on 57 seconds of war in Iraq.

It's rather telling that Mr. Snow can't survive on $180,000 per annum. I wonder if he would ever empathize with those of us who far less.

Well, it seems that, like Scott McClellan before him, Mr. Snow seems to have Bullshit Fatigue.

Actually, I'm glad he has the grace to (also) jump ship rather than hang on to the bitter end or even wait until forced out (like a certain AG).

As for his cancer, my dad also died of colon cancer, so I wish no ill to him personally.

I just wonder how long before George Bush himself has to resign (due to, oh, I don't know, a brain aneurysm?) or (yet) another heart attack forces Dick Cheney out?

Here's some more manure from the RepubliKLAN
Talking Points Memo:
Rep. Jon Porter (R-NV) just got back from Iraq and he says that Petraeus, Crocker and the chieftains of the Iraqi government told him not only that there would be genocide if the US left but that gas prices would go to $8 or $9 a gallon.

The Nevada Republican, who returned Tuesday from his fourth trip to Iraq, met with U.S. Army Gen. David Petraeus, U.S. Ambassador Ryan Crocker, Iraqi Deputy President Tariq al-Hashimi and Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Barham Saleh.
"To a person, they said there would be genocide, gas prices in the U.S. would rise to eight or nine dollars a gallon, al-Qaida would continue its expansion, and Iran would take over that portion of the world if we leave," Porter said Wednesday in a phone interview from Las Vegas.

Secretary Rumsfeld Interview with Tony Snow, Fox News Radio "Tony Snow Show"

..............RUMSFELD: No. We're not losing the war in Iraq at all, and I don't think there's any military commander or person who's involved over there who believes that's the case.

It's a tough business and people are being killed........but the schools are open, the hospitals are open, the textbooks are there, the court system's functioning.............

.............. Mr. Secretary, as always, a pleasure. Thanks for joining us.

RUMSFELD: Thank you, Tony. It's good to be with you.

In Matthew 7: 15-20, Jesus Christ says: "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves. By their fruits ye shall know them. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but the corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Therefore by their fruits ye shall know them."
