Normally when someone gets a life threatening disease, they tend to get spirtual and have regrets about the wrongs that all of us have done in our lives. I won't go out of my way to bust on Snow, except to note that he is at least an enabler of and accomplice to heinous war criminals.
The more germane issue in this thread is to wonder still again what the HuffPo censors ("We're not censors! Stop calling us that!") think they're up to.
I expected this to be a "comments closed" item, since HuffPo seems to be given over to pearl-clutching about Uncivil Remarks about the dying or freshly dead (e.g. Jerry Falwell). And sure enough, this comments thread has some pretty tough comments. (Not that there's anything wrong with it!)
And yet HuffPo saw fit to "disappear" a perfectly straightforward comment to some lame post in which the writer shared his rapture for the movie "Rocky IV", which he first saw when he was five years old. I gently commented that in many ways, he's STILL five years old. I guess the Grundy at the censor console thought even that was too mean-spirited, especially since the writer has a five-year old's sensibility.
They zapped my non-profane but unflattering comment on the Katie Couric Goes to War piece, too. And maybe this one won't see the light of day, either... OFF-TOPIC! ZAP! (If HuffPo dared create a permanent site to "discuss" their policies, preferably an interactive one where HuffPo authorities respond to honest concerns and complaints, I wouldn't be venting here.)
HuffPo's evolving censorship policies remain capricious and erratic to thoughtful commenters, and leave a lot to be desired.

Looks like he's a dying man. Obviously he'd like to make as much money as possible to leave his survivors after he goes, and he can do that talking to friendly crowds on the lecture circuit rather than catching flak every day for about one-tenth of what he could be making. Talk about a no-brainer.

I am a conservative in that I oppose the arbitrary slaughter of any people at the taxpayers expense and will not tolerate lies and the treasonous antics of an amoral and childish group of people that have seized control of my party.
