Within hours, the letters to the editor started coming in. "Condoleezza Rice serves an administration that has trashed the basic values of academia: reason, science, expertise, and honesty. Stanford should not welcome her back," wrote Don Ornstein, identified by the newspaper as an emeritus professor of mathematics in a letter published May 31.

Online comments on the newspaper's Web site were even harsher, a veritable stream of vitriol. One of the milder posts came from Jon Wu, who did not give an affiliation: "Please go away, Rice. We don't want someone who is responsible for the slaughter of an entire nation teaching at our school."

How does one distinguish a 'stain' from the rest of her record? Her entire record -- stain and all -- is homogenous; any part of it fungible.

Somehow the stain on our nation seems more a matter for more concern than any damage to a single administration hack's reputation.

she's worried about the stain of iraq on her legacy.
i've got news for you condi, like the memories of every parent who got a dead child back in a box due to the war you helped lie us into, the memories of your stain too will fade but slowly, if at all, over time. i'm afraid you're stuck with it.
as much as you try to wash out the spot lady macbeth, the spot, she will not wash out.

Sec. Condi Rice considers Iraq the "stain" on her resume. What an incredible claim! Hey, Ms. RIce, you are fully integrated into the policy choices and the rhetoric that dragged the United States into this war of choice.

For me, the best thing that can happen is for the rest of the internaitonal community to declare you and the rest of the NeoCons War Criminals who ought to do a perp walk into the INternational Court of Justice in the Hague. No, Condi, Stanford should not welcome you, or any of your ilk back to Palo Alto. Your conduct will besmirch that fine academic institution and, frankly, in the spirit of intellectual honesty and decency, your career's "stain" is everything a univeristy ought to eschew in its image - if the image of Stanford is worth anything anymore.

Rice COULD accomplish something GRAND and improve her legacy for hundreds of years to come and that would be to break with the gang and openly expose and oppose a US/Israeli sneak attack on Iran. Powell could have done this with regards to Iraq and didn't. His legacy is sealed - he's house negro forever. Where ever I turn these days to get my news, I see that a massive attack on Iran is imminent. Rice could make the difference. I would worship at her feet, if she stopped it. And so would millions and millions of people around the world.

Condi? - great "legacy"? the Mid East turned to shit, 9/11 "Overlooked Memos", jump started Cold War, world wide failure on all diplomatic fronts, China, Korea, now Iran . . . all through it all your world wide peace trips efforts coincide with Faragamo's Paris Fall Sales . . co-inky-dink?
Condi has shown that indifference, incompetence and the Peter Principal knows no color or gender barrier . . .

Condoleezza Rice is a pseudointellectual bullshit artist who conned a bunch of imbeciles infesting our White House.

She has the mind and emotional makeup of a thirteen year-old girl.

She has absolutely no business being our Secretary of State.

Condoleezza Rice has accomplished NOTHING! Except perhaps serving her handlers to weaken our country.

And what is she to Iraqis? She did her damnest to see to it that Iraq was destroyed. She peddaled with gusto so-called "intelligence" most of which she knew was false [or should have known], that Iraq was a major threat to the U.S. and the world.

Passivity is complicity. Condi Rice was passive about the impending 9/11 false flag attacks and, therefore, complicit.

The friends, family members, and insurance providers for the victims of the 9/11 murders may have a bit of a problem with that, Condi. Time to follow in Rove and Gonzales' footsteps and resign to "spend more time with"...your team of lawyers. You're going to need months or years of expensive consults, Gappy.

Condoleezza Rice Should Resign
By William H. Calhoun (10/04/06)

"As many have suspected all along, Condoleezza Rice ignored warnings about 9/11. In July of 2001 when CIA Director George Tenet told Condoleezza Rice of the impending 9/11 attack, she brushed him aside, laughed, and ignored his warnings. This account has recently been corroborated by multiple sources. She knew of the possibility of an attack, and lifted not a single finger to investigate it. For this action alone, Rice should resign."

"We’ve had a full week of PageFuckerGate Fever, and it’s been so much fun that we totally forgot about Woodward’s hit job on the Bush Administration … wait a minute! Was that the whole idea?

Luckily, conservatives are paying attention — must not think about penises, must not think about long hard penises — and now they’re calling for Condi Rice to resign. Why? Because the State Department (which Rice supposedly runs) has confirmed that the July 2001 Rice-Tenet meeting about the upcoming 9/11 attacks did take place, and she was there, and she lied to the 9/11 Commission about it."

She'll have Colin Powell to share the "stain" with her. A box of Tide won't even help.

As for a stain on her so called "legacy" maybe we can ask the parents, wives, husbands, children, sister's or brother's of our Dead soldiers to write her a letter of sympathy!
Condi the stain on your blouse, I think Larry has some toilet paper he can loan you!
