New York Times:

In response to Mr. Draper's observance that Mr. Bush had nobody's "shoulder to cry on," the president said: "Of course I do, I've got God's shoulder to cry on, and I cry a lot." In what Mr. Draper interpreted as a reference to war casualties, Mr. Bush added, "I'll bet I've shed more tears than you can count as president."

Yet Mr. Bush said his certainty that Iraq would turn around for the better was not for show. "You can't fake it," he told Mr. Draper in December.

We need to get Cleavon Derrick out of retirement as Rembrandt Brown
Rembrandt Brown has a career as a musician. He is called The Crying Man because he cries real tears on stage. Some of his songs include:

* Cry Like a Man
* Tears in My 'Fro
* Love Explosion
* Head-Butt Me
* Weeping Wall of Tears
* Explosion of Love
* Who Stole My Woman?
* I'd Pawn My Gold Crown For You
we need Derrick to record
* I've got God's shoulder to cry on
* I Cry a Lot

My favorite is Tear In My 'Fro

I got tears in my 'Fro [afro hairdo]
'cause I'm standing on my head
crying my eyes out over you.

One can almost imagine the scenario: One night, in a stupor fueled by alcohol and cocaine, during a spirited game of "F*ck, Marry or Kill" with a gaggle of his neocon frat buddies, George W. Bush is offered the following choices: A Texas deathrow inmate, Laura Welch, and the United States of America. I think we all know what the outcome was.

Oooooh, that's a fun game!

When Laura Bush's turn came up, she had 3 choices:

(1) Her ex-boyfriend and a set of car keys;
(2) George Bush, but his mother is Satan and her kids would be spawn;
(3) No one, after 2 spawned children claw their way out of her vagina, ruining it forever.

After the small amount of vomit went back down my throat, I'm sick to death of THEOCRATS.
They take NO RESPONSIBILTY for their actions, they are SO SURE they are doing God's will...even when there is ample evidence they are DEAD WRONG. Drive this whole clown car with the St Christopher statue off a cliff!

So Bush thinks God believes Bush did the right thing by attacking Irag and killing innocent people in the process. Wow, what a God. Guess Bush is lucky God appears to a Repulican and not a Muslim. Otherwise God would be supporting Al Queda.

Yes, I think this God of his is very fickle. First he gets the "terrrists" to fly planes and attack us cause they hate our freedoms... then his God has him counter attack the "terrrrists" for hating our freedoms and all. But then it seems this God goes back and forth, over and over. Yes, they all have made a mockery of the concept of God.

Just like any punkass addict son of a power and priviledge, Bush the Lesser thought he could just skip the hardwork of the twelve steps and go straight to God. If only he had admitted that he was powerless and made ammends, we might not be in this endless nightmare. Then again maybe not since power is the ultimate drug of choice for humans.

Meanwhile the criminal who spawned this mutant has purchased 100,000 acres of Paraguy. Why, would a former president of the USA and Carlyle Group shill make such a huge investment this South American haven for former Nazi's? Do you really need to ask.

The only tears being shed come from the families of those innocents we have slain and the poor soldiers duped into doing it. Oh and perhaps from God who has to look at another ill fashioned mistake.

Of course you do. You're a Republican who talks out of his ass about manliness and stereotypes that people like Craig can only ape... They aren't what they claim, but that's the dress-up game that is Republican Politics... Ask Rudy (when he gets out of his fishnets).

What a fucking hypocrite. Bush is using his god, which is more like Satan, to confer his achievements.

'Sorry my dear lord, I have not destroyed Iraq as you wished.'

'Sorry my dear lord, I have not been able to attack Iran'

He is the most despicable demagogue ever in the history of the USA.

When a politician uses 'God' within his political framework, he reduces God to a mare idol. Bush is simply a pagan.

    Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 11:14 AM on 09/02/2007

Pagans don't want him either - and he's NO pagan or he'd know a heck of a lot better than to have done what he has done.

He's nothing but a slimy opportunistic bullcrap-spouting hypocrite.

    Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 12:25 PM on 09/02/2007

other maven/steal georgia: He/she isn't using "pagan" in your sense of the word, he may not even know what you are referring to, which could be confusing.

I believe Gabanaki is referring to the more traditional understanding (not meaning) of Pagan. Idolator may be a better word choice.

A Pagan?

Trust me, we don't want him either. He's
A Christian Fundamentalist
A radical right wing reactionary
A Fascist
A Powerful Pawn of the Corporations
Delusional Paranoid
A torturer
A tyrant
A self loathing liar
A danger to everyone and everthing on the planet

But there is nothing about him that is Pagan.

Sorry, that was supposed to be in response to Gakabani (below) who said "Bush is simply a pagan".
