Washington Post:

He also makes new disclosures about the behind-the-scenes infighting at the White House that helped prompt the change from Card to Bolten in the spring of 2006. By that point, he reports, some close to the president had concluded that "the White House management structure had collapsed," with senior aides Rove and Dan Bartlett "constantly at war."

He quotes Gillespie as telling one Republican while running interference for Alito's Supreme Court nomination: "I'm going crazy over here. I feel like a shuttle diplomat, going from office to office. No one will talk to each other."

does this article say anything? really?

the plans that the pigs laid out for our country are proceeding according to plan--

1 use staged terror to scare the people, attack their freedoms and attack two innocent countries

2 use Iraq to stage more terror and more attacks

3 loot the US and Iraq--

4 steal the next election or allow AIPAC Hillary to finish the job of destroying America, her currency, her freedoms

I sure wish someone could explain how 911 happened in such a way that I actually can believe it. Then they could explain why the people who oppposed the Patriot Act were attacked with anthrax from a US Military lab, and then they could explain why that lab was shut down and all the spores were destroyed by the FBI, once their origin was determined. And then they could explain why there have been no subsequent terror attacks, even though our borders are completely unsecure

You know, its almost like the US government controls terror attacks in some way that has yet to be diclosed. hmmm

I have often contemplated this myself--but, then my rational side tells me, there is no way our government would stage an event like the Gulf of Tonkin, simply to escalate a war and make huge profits for weapons' makers--there is know way our government would murder a President because he planned to shut down the Fed and NOT attack Vietnam for profit--there is no way our government would supply the explosives to the patsies in the 1993 WTC bombing--our government just wouldn't do such things

9/11 and the subsequent war on terror most closely resembles a Mafia Protection Scam. On a much larger scale, of course. With a Molotov through the storefront on 9-11.

With an unholy union of global corporations, international crime syndicates and government agencies or entire branches involved. Don Cheney's empire will be called the POX Americana.

There is no "I" in the word team.

The teamwork from Bush's administration is appalling on any professional standard, a problem that comes straight from the top. Bush's "straw poll" in April of 2006 on whether or not to fire Rummy is a good example, very unprofessional.

It sounds like a few of them are all too eager to clear their names - get them in front of Congress under oath, asap.

Anybody who expects the investigations to continue into 2009 is going to be very disappointed. The next president, probably Hillary, will call for political healing and won't let the 'political war' continue.

The new Clinton Administration will all be about bringing the country and the world together while at the same time, refusing to stop the Crusade for Muslim Oil or reverse the gains of globalization and corporate fascism.

By the way, wasn't all this infighting at BushCo when Dumbya was declaring that he was the decider?

You may be correct about that speakingtruth2power.

This infighting via finger pointing, will go on and on in the post Bush administration years. It's the nature of the beast.

The next president and congress will almost certainly have to deal with it somehow.

"Post Bush administration years" - I like how that sounds.

Here they go again,

The riders have whips which cut.

Your head rolls onto the sand

Your head is a pool in the dirt

Your head is a stain in the dust

Your eyes have gone out and your nose

Sniffs only the pong of the dead

And all the dead air is alive

With the smell of America’s God.

Pinpointing their comments at one or two specific posters rather than addressing the issue at hand is more than enough evidence that they suffer from the syndrome you mentioned.

What do you call the words and actions of Reverend John Haggee, Neo? I call, it terrorism:

"John Hagee may not realize that his agenda is being shaped to conform with what General Tira and the Radical Zionists at the top levels of Israeli politics want; nonetheless, Hagee's lobbying agenda in Washington is designed to force U.S. congressional support for an unconscionable - and lethal - attack on the people of Iran. In the end, this not only threatens the tiny country of Israel, it threatens the greater national security of the United States and our service men and women in Iraq. It is an act of insanity, or what the head of the UNIAEA told the BBC, an "act of madness.""

C&P from Ken Levine's blog:

Last weekend I was in the Dallas-Fort Worth airport and encountered a whole group of soldiers returning from Iraq for R&R. They were wearing those green camouflage fatigues that allow them to move about undetected in the forests of the Middle East. Airport security made them all take off their combat boots, which lace almost up to their knees. It's the TSA's little way of saying thank you to our boys. "Dog tags in the bins, fellas."

So as we were all putting our shoes and boots back on I asked them what it was like over there. Answer: "bad!" And then I said, "When do you think you guys will all come home?" Almost in unison they said, "When a Democrat is elected."
****************************************
Wow that sounds exactly like what my friends sadi upin returning from Iraq. One of my Clients has a kid that jut returned from Afghanistan, and he says its totally out of control there, also, and that the Taliban still call the shots. At least there was a legit reason for that military action, although Bush diverted so many resources that we've effectively lost control of that country at this point. Perhaps the next Commander in Chief will have some military creds, or at least be willing to listen to someone that does. No Beej, I'm not talking about God or BabyJesus, here, that does not count to those of us who are rational adults

I have two bases within ten miles of my home. We see troops all the time, in our local restaurants and hangout. They, too, have nothing good to say about what is going on over there. It used to be, if asked, they would avoid the subject or repeat some Limpballs talking point. Now they are just disgusted, and more than happy to tell the truth.

Imagine if we'd had an unbiased, independent media for these past six years, this would have been out a long time ago. And though most of us here at HuffPo are not surprised by this news, it may have made a difference in the lead up to the invasion of Iraq, the (lack of) response to Katrina and the 2004 election.

Liberal fascists like Thalia can't speak only for themselves, they have to speak on behalf of everyone.

That's why Edwards is now proclaiming that if he gets into the White House, he will order all Americans to see their doctors - or else:

To those who labor, have a nice holiday.

To those who don't, who sponge off the system so they can post their wacky stuff all day, don't.
