On topic, what kind of accountability do we expect from our politicians, when deceptive behavior has become the norm? Legal hair splitting comes on the heels of a poorly executed entrapment. If the officer had waited for more definitive proof instead of botching his own sting, we wouldn't be discussing whether someone was guilty or not guilty of public misconduct.

I want to know why the gay lobby is so outraged by the hypocrisy of one politician? Adults using restrooms for assignations is bad for society. If the gay community wants civil unions, then they need to condemn this kind of behavior. Until, the gay community stops condeming bad behavior in their own camp while smirking the other way at what goes on in rest stops in Massachusetts or on the beach in Provincetown, they aren't going to win any case for having standards. The kind of lewd and tasteless behavior that is represented in a gay parade in SF should also be addressed.
