AP:

Two morning TV show anchors apologized on-air for a movie promotion that involved giving away a jacket riddled with fake bullet holes.

"Good Morning Philadelphia" anchors Clayton Morris and Sue Serio had promoted the new Clive Owen movie "Shoot 'Em Up" with the jacket and other paraphernalia.

They were subsequently criticized by Philadelphia Daily News columnist Jill Porter, who wrote that the promotion was inappropriate in a city besieged by gun deaths and on pace to record its highest murder total in a decade.

To end the violence in Philadelphia end drug prohibition now. I would bet my soul on it.
I have spent many years down in North Philly studying the situation and the violence, and it is all fueled by the black market in drugs.
It is incredible that no public official or media outlet has even mentioned it. Laws against Guns aren't going to mean much to people who already break the insane laws against some drugs.

True fact. I was in Philly recently and was apalled at the murders reported daily on the local news. Several everyday. All over the city.

Another reason that Philly is known as Filthadelphia & WC Fields wanted "I'd rather be in Philadelphia." engraved on his tombstone.
Crime doesn't pay in Philly but the hours are good.
