Spector Trial Goes To The Jury Amid New Controversy

The murder case against record producer Phil Spector went to the jury Monday after Spector's wife sparred with the judge over a gag order and Spector himself publicly denied he had criticized the judge and jury pool.

Superior Court Judge Larry Paul Fidler sent the jurors into deliberations after asking if any had heard or seen any news reports over the weekend that could affect their discussions. No one raised a hand.

The London newspaper The Mail on Sunday reported that Spector had said most of the prospective jurors thought he was either guilty or insane and Fidler "doesn't like me."

There's no way that any sane jury will find someone who looks THAT crazy go free!

You're not supposed to get convicted for murder because you look weird. Let's hope the jury uses the rule of law.

OTOH, you'd think someone in the fight of their life would have enough sense to clean up their appearance.

His is guilty and he is insane, just not criminally insane.

Agree completely. This guy's fright wig is enough to say he's crazy nuts and obviously guilty. His attorneys haven't done their job keeping him on a short leash. A complete wack job.

I find it interesting he managed to find a wife after he allegedly killed Lana Clarkson and before his trial. You don't suppose she is looking to have a grand home to live in while her husband is sitting is prison. Looks like she hit the jack-pot.
