Tommy Lee And Kid Rock Get in VMA Brawl

Kid Rock was cited for misdemeanor battery after a tussle with Tommy Lee in the audience at the MTV Video Music Awards, police said.

The rock-rapper received the citation after police reported to the Palms Hotel and Casino shortly after 10 p.m. Sunday and interviewed people at the scene, Officer Bill Cassell said.

Kid Rock was not taken into custody, he said.

OK, Shelly Mann is a great drummer, but I went to the Motley Crue/Aerosmith concert at Nissan Pavillion a few months ago and it was great. Gene Krupa would not have been as good as Tommy Lee in that format. Tommy lee is still a really good rock drummer.

Kid Rock is a really good...duet act.

I think we need a rematch. Britany could be the ring card girl.

Maybe it was staged. Maybe not. What was Kid doing 1st? Mebbe minding his own business with his friends...and Tommy Lee was being the aggressor and got what he deserved. Kid writes some funny, hard-rockin' dirt-rock. (Some of you saints have Lynyrd Skynyrd CD's now, doncha ya'll?) This is why the nanny-state finds fault in both paries!
