It is hard to imagine more hypocritical grandstanding. Hillary Clinton will take money from anyone. No matter how much money you pander for, you can never take that war vote back.

Anytime someone receives money from some one else, an obligation seems ensuing. Hillary asking us to believe that she is not obligated, is stretching reality beyond the bounds of reason.

Professional politicians have a record of not keeping their promises, why is Hillary different?

Gravel and Kucinich are the only two running for office who are not obligated to special interests, why are they not equal in the running, follow the money.

There is a lot of Hillary hatred around. I'm not sure why but she's a lightning rod.
For years she's been demonized, I guess the opposing party figured she'd be the nominee someday. But to the extent they've gone to makes you think, if they're that worried about her, maybe she can do some good!
So, if she runs, I'll vote for her. But someone else may have a better chance.

Hillary is a nasty fighter with a bad attitude, a hardcore b!@#$! That's why I love her, and the rest of NY does too! She's a ballcrusher, not a shrinking violet. It surprises me to no end that the self-labeled progressive-liberals among you would have such a visceral hatred for her. There is only one other class of person in this country more reviled than black men, and that is women. And if you doubt that, ask yourself if a conservative would sooner vote to repeal the Voting Rights Act, or to outlaw abortion.

I'm a NY'er and I like Hillary; so does the FDNY. If you don't believe she'd wipe the floor with anyone on the Republican side, then go back and yt her Obama smackdown. That guy is as naive as they come (sure, let's negotiate with Chavez and Castro and Ahmadinejad and Kim, and legitimize their oppressive regimes with the imprimatur of American propriety and power - is he kidding?)

So stop hatin' and get with the program. This is why Republicans win, because we as Democrats would sooner Balkanize and eat our own instead of backing the one person who can win. At least I know where she's been...can you say the same for anyone else?

There is no reason what-so-ever that this country cannot make the transition to a successful single payer health-care plan. The only obsticles are these professional liars who's greed diminishes our everyday lives. When she says,"people with legitimate business should have a say" she relegates all those who have been harmed by these companies and their greed to 2nd class citizens. For their "say" is certainly worth less. Rose had a very good point; she should have been first out of the gate with her plan instead of, again, waiting to see which way she could best "spin" her self-serving plan. She is disgusting.

You virile (mostly) silly fools. Hillary will be the next president.
Get used to it.
Act accordingly.

Hillary says she has the best record on healthcare - and the cattle say "Hillary is best - because she told us so".

Hillary says she has the most experience - and the cattle say "Hillary is best - because she said so".

Hillary says she is the most qualified to handle terrorism - and the cattle say "Hillary must be the best - she said she was".

The cattle don't look under the covers to see what's behind all of the bravado and self promotion - because Hillary told them they don't need to look.

Well bad news for the cattle - the great and powerful Oz was a sham and so is Hillary.

A far as I am able to determine, this woman has accomplished absolutely nothing for the people of the United States. The only experience that she appears to have is sleeping with Bubba - and she apparently didn't do that very well.

I only hope that the cattle wake up before it's too late. Ask the hard questions; demand proof; examine her motives in the context of her 'achievements'. Follow the money and find out who really owns Clinton. Find out who you're really sending to the White House.

It is hard to understand why, other that they think she will win, insurance companies would give financial support to Hillary. She wants government to provide their function. The better question, in an honest debate, to Hillary would be should candidates accept funds from crooks. Given Hillary's record, she does not vett big donors and will take funds from anyone regardless of the law. Should someone so free with the law be elected to the executive office responsible for enforcing the law? That would be a good queston.

why the hatred of insurance companies from the lefties?

do they feel like they are getting ripped off by the insurance companies?

i always ask myself why they think the way they do and i think i know the answer to this one.

they feel like they are getting ripped off because their lives aren't worth insuring.

any premium would feel like a ripoff.

It's economics. It's the cost. If you don't understand economies of scale you won't get it.

I don't hate insurance companies. I hate how much they charge for pushing papers around.

Then they regulate themselves. I'm not comfortable with that. It's a conflict of interest.

You people who try to act like the healthcare system is just ducky and the costs are just right are frankly insane. Or stupid. Or in the industry. Or all three.

that's why the conservatives came up with HSA's. instead of giving all that money to insurance companies, you get a catastrophic policy only, which lowers your premiums significantly, take the money you would have paid them, put in in a PRIVATE account that is tax deferred, and save the money you would have given the insurance companies for routine and preventative procedures while keeping the rest in your pocket.

that's what i do and i love it.

i can't help it if you don't want to participate.

no one is forcing you to participate of course. we conservatives don't like to force you into stuff.

you are the ones trying to force everyone into programs they may or may not want.

see the difference little one?

your old lady works for the devil huh? is that why you are so dumb and nasty?

Just the wimmins part shows how much you respect women.

Why would Hillary have to immediately solve every problem and issue we have perfectly?

You've never held any male to that standard.

I'm sure Hillary couldn't do anywhere near as horribly as George Bush. I'm really just looking for progress.

Any worthwhile healthcare reform lies in a socialized system; that said, no candidate running will embrace it, and even if they did, the "1%" forces at work in US politics will NOT allow it to come into existence.

Heathcare, when viewed as a basic human right, cannot be tied to profit margins--therfore, significant heathcare reform WILL NOT HAPPEN in the US.

The majority wants it, but since when has that mattered in this country?

They said man wouldn't walk on the moon and the earth is flat my man.

Everyone gets healthcare in this country.

The issue is the cost. Single payer is the only viable solution. We can't just keep going on like this.

It's economically impossible.

it's easy to spout out little snippets of your wishes, but let me ask you a few things.

what do you think would be a fair premium for this?

would you force me into this ponzai scheme even though i want no part of it?

for example, they have a mediocre national health system in costa rica but they do not force you to participate.

would you force me to participate?

Hand held? People pay good money for health insurance so they won't need charity should catastrophe strike. But even then, many go bankrupt when their policies bilk them on "over and above charges" costs ete when they're struck with cancer or similar ailments. But I guess you're living in the new America. The old one gave a damn.

SHE DOES NOT GET IT---

THERE IS A DIFFERENCE FROM TAKING MONEY FROM LOBBYIST AND TAKING MONEY FROM PEOPLE WHO WORK AT FOR THE PARTICULAR COMPANIES..

THOSE PEOPLE DO NOT GET THE SAME ACCESS LOBBYISTS GET..

This lady is a phony politician, who will get trounced if she wins the democratic nomination.

Democrats better wake up soon and realize that fact or we will have the Senate,House, but another Republican President.

She says we need a "political consensus" does anyone believe she is the one to build consensus.

Well. Should she become president she's got her excuse now for failure to accomplish meaningful health care reform. There was no political will or concensus. How convenient. The money to her campaign from those big "executives" will only continue to pour in now that she's exposed her "out" for talking big about health care while sending out code terms like "will" and "concensus" that she'll take no real leadership here and the matter is DOA.
