Edwards Responds To Bush Speech

Former Senator John Edwards, D-N.C., released a video-taped response to President George W. Bush's address Thursday evening on the Iraq War.

In his remarks Edwards said

"Our troops are stuck between a president without a plan to succeed and a Congress without the courage to bring them home," Edwards said in the address. "Supporting our troops and pursuing a failed war are not the same things - whatever George Bush would have us believe. All Americans honor the incredible sacrifice of our troops. They have done everything asked of them with courage and resolve. Now we should bring them home."

Neaguy, I couldn't agree more. I'm sending in a few bucks to help finance that ad and I'm hoping that this will encourage his to go even further. I hope that Edwards surgest oin this effort sufficiently to strike fear into the hearts of Obama and Hillary to the point that they will stop being led by the American people and start leading as Edwards has been doing.

This guy just keeps geting better and better.

JE leads, the insiders Hillary and Barack followo.

And as a bonus, JE talks and walks the talk about fighting poverty in America.

Which state or states are Hillary or Obama going to win, that Kerry lost in 2004?

Edwards is poised to win states in the South that they cannot. And this video is just one more example of a top tier candidate who can win for the Dems nationally against any Republican opponent.

At least some of the candidates are showing some spine. Whether it's to get votes or not, it's a good sign.

Too bad Mr. Edwards is no longer an elected official?
