NCLB is an excuse to divide capable teachers from students and schools in lower socio-economic class areas and call it accountability.

It is a veiled effort to lend credibility to the voucher movement and educational privitization.

Exactly. Meanwhile, nobody is learning anything that is not on those standardized computerized tests that Neil Bush markets.

No Child Left Behind is the worst thing to happen to American education since the busing debacle in the sixties.

NCLB steals money needed for education. It benefits no one except the private companies that do the testing, including Neil Bush's (is that who the Bush twinbots work for?)

NCLB keeps teachers from teaching.

NCLB is an attempt by Republicans to shame and constrain the schools, so that can justify destroying them for their private school vouchers and charter schools.

The Republicans hate education. They would have everyone deaf, dumb and blind if they could pull it off.

given the choice for President..

i would prefer Al Gore.. but Edwards will do..

what i will say is that most of the democrats are excellent choices..

Mr. Obama perhaps if you had another 6 years of experience i would vote for you.. but right now i am going with real change that speaks of change as more than an election ploy..

Hillary Bush.. NO way..

Experience schmerience.

Have you read his resume? http://www.barackobama.com/about/

I'm sick of hearing people say he doesn't have enough experience. It's just not true.

Hear hear. I agree. It's not an argument on issues. It's just disqualifyimng the guy you don't like the color of his skin and his weird sounding name.

Obama has more common sense than any of the candidates by far. Listen to what he says. He's not a stooge so Corporate America is afraid of him. That's a good thing in my book.

Pssst, didn't Edwards vote in favor of the Bush-war? Wouldn't that make him one of those pussy-democrats you know, those who're cause of the problem as much as Bush? Obama for prez, cuz Oprah doesn't want to herself!

This claim of Senator Obama's experience or lack thereof, is one so-called Liberals who are scared shitless of a smart, articulate and capable Black man like Obama have hatched to hide behind. Edwards has shown poor judgment in every area and has been mimicking Senator Obama in anything sensible he has so far said. He even voted for a stupid war in Iraq and came to apologize afte causing so much damage with his 'inexperience'. HE IS A ONE-TERM SENATOR with no state-level legislative experience except courtroom haggling with insurance companies. You call that experience? I think you are a liberal in name only; one who, deep in your heart have a reason you are too embarrassed about to admit publicly. It is funny how we are finding out just how comfortable and honest the so-called White Liberal Left is about Senator Obama's skin color.

Why are the Democrats/Closet Communists/Jihad supporters A BUNCH OF LOSERS?

They let the Soviet KGB, China, and our Communist Party USA and their crooked peace groups, take over Vietnam and Southeast Asia.

They were aiding the Soviet KGB, the Castro/ Cuban DGI, and our Communist Party USA and their crooked peace groups, in the takeover of Central America.

Now they are aiding KGB Putin's REVENGE FOR OUR AIDING IN THEIR DEFEAT IN AFGHANISTAN, Iran/Syria, and our Communist Party USA and their crooked peace groups, in the takeover of the Middle East/destruction of Israel.

THIS PROVES THE DEMS ARE MEETING WITH THE COMMUNIST PARTY, which some Huffers say doesn't exist?

"The Democratic Party House Caucus held a briefing with a number of former government officials. The OUT OF IRAQ CAUCUS began consultations with the PEACE MOVEMENT to prepare for the legislative struggle to end the war and occupation.

And the Progressive Caucus staff has urged the PEACE MOVEMENT to request a meeting with Pelosi, which is in process.

Although many meetings and briefings are happening in the wake of the election victory, the staffers for the key pro-peace Congressional representatives say there isn’t a push yet for a Democratic Party consensus position on the war.

A few Congressional staffers have urged that the PEACE MOVEMENT bring together several Congressional representatives to discuss introducing one major peace of anti-war legislation while others are skeptical. The peace movement will take steps in January to see if it is a possibility.

Sen. Levin and others have advocated in the weeks since the election for setting a July 2007 deadline to begin US troop withdrawal. The Out of Iraq Caucus, with 73 members, is soliciting input on legislation.

Rep. Maxine Waters, the chair of the Out of Iraq Caucus, has participated in TWO BRIEFING SESSIONS with UNITED FOR PEACE AND JUSTICE leadership and other peace movement leaders in the last week. The UFPJ legislative network organized one. Rep. Waters initiated the second for input into the next steps the caucus should take."

exposing --

Why have we become a debtor nation to Communist China -- on THIS regime's watch, then, if it's the Democrats' fault?

No one, NO ONE, is a bigger cheerleader for trade with China than big business interests within this administration.

So, your straw man arguments are nothing more than specious pomposity, appealing to visceral reactions, rather than empirical facts.

Is that all you got? A bunch of 6th grade name-calling provocateurism?

Surely, Karl Rove taught you better than that! But, then again, he's used to dealing with people who have a long learning curve, isn't he? George, comes to mind . . .

Frost,

In regards to you would vote for Obama if he had another 6 years of experience? Yeah right. Tell us anything. Fast forward to 6 years....what will be the excuse then? Uhhh...I'm sure you'll come up with something. Have no fear Frost. Vote for the black man. It's okay. I know it's hard to accept that when there is an equal playing field - opportunities and education - there is no difference. I know it's extremely hard, unrattling even, to agree with the majority of his ideas and strategies. Is it also hard to respect him as an equally intelligent human being? Fear will always keep you/one/us back.

Do you know my favorite part of your post?....Edwards will do. Why is that, Frost?
