Super-Producer Timbaland: "Big-Headed" Britney Blew Chance To Work With Justin Timberlake

Say what you will about the outcome, Britney Spears' VMA performance was one of the most-anticipated ones in years. But think how much bigger it would have been had it been billed as Spears taking the stage with former flame Justin Timberlake to perform together. Huge, right? Well, Timbaland -- who claims to have nearly collaborated with the singer in the past -- says Brit has quashed any chance of a JT collabo taking place anytime soon.

The super-producer told MTV News during VMA weekend that a prospective team-up between the two would be "the best thing that ever happened" and would "help her out a whole lot." But he then dismissed the possibility, saying in so many words that Brit has become big-headed and had dissed him and Justin. "It'll never happen. Nah. It could've, but it won't."

Oh, Pish Tush....while Britneys performance at the mtv awards was lackluster and sluggish...she looks damn good and as for her "apologizing" to anyone over it...when I watched the repeats of the show..I thought...in comparison to the horrible mess of the whole show...she came out on top really.
So if Britney apologizes for darn sure the whole bunch of "super stars" should also...as for Justin...A Tony Bennett or Gene Kelly he aint.!!! V.

God help me for saying this but don't knock Justin. I recently watched the movie 'Black Snake Moan' and didn't realise til the final credits that one of the main actors was none other than Timberlake. If you just watch the guy without the "JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE®" brand attached he's a pretty damned good actor. There might be life after a teenage-girl-pop-music career afterall.

Timberfake is an overrated,singing caricature, created by cheesy record execs and a completely stupid and pathetic popculture that swallows this horses's ass yelps on stage. Over the years, one can see that the depths of the entertainment cess pool has been continuously scraped to come up with little pricks like Timberfake.

Well said! What a sad state pop music is in right now - I've honestly never heard one of this guys stupid songs, but when I see his "video" on MTV at my gym in the morning doing his gay little choreographed dance routine in his little hat - I just want to vomit - what utter crap. As Noel Gallagher said "(pop)music now belongs to the choreographers - and it's rubbish."
