AP:

Republican presidential candidate Fred Thompson gave no opinion Thursday when asked about efforts by President Bush and Congress to keep Terri Schiavo alive, saying he does not remember details of the right-to-die case that stirred national debate.

Thompson was asked in an interview for Bay News 9's "Political Connections" program whether he thought Congress' intervention to save the life of the brain-damaged woman two years ago was appropriate.

That's because Thompson is brain dead himself. What I want to know is: is Fred Thompson gay? Are all Republicans gay? It's just one Republican cocksucker after another being forced out of the closet. Foley. Haggart. Craig. Melman. McHenry. And on and on. So is the Republican party the gay party? The closeted, self-loathing gay party? Those prostitutes David Vitter cavorts around with--are we sure they are all women? Real women? For sure?

What is going on? Didn't I see on Huffpo yesterday, that Thomposon had withdrawn from the race?

The bad news: Fred Thompson has no recollection of the Terri Schiavo case.

The good news: Bill Frist thinks Thompson is conscious and responsive!

........Fred "good-ole-boy" Thompson is just the perfect GOP candidate to follow in George "good-ole-boy" Bush's footsteps.....they are both as dumb as a box of rocks!!!!
01:32 PM on 09/14/2007
LOL....He cant be too dumb! He managed to steal an election and then beat Kerry while we were in an unpopular war! Maybe we should be saying all democratic and republican candidates are dumb as a box of rocks and vote independent this time around.

If he has a problem remembering something like this, something that grabbed the attention of the entire country, then what else does he not remember? If his memory is that bad, maybe he is not qualified to be president. We already have seen what happens when you have a mentally challenged president. We don't need more of the same!

Of course he remembers. He just does not want to take a position on it because he's a politician who does not want to offend his base (the religious white male Taliban). In other words, another Repuibliscum liar who wants to be preznit. Just another acting role for Thompson to play for his loving/ignorent audience. God help us if any of these Repukes become president...

Maybe the "Law & Order" producers ripped the Schiavo story from Thompson's deteriorating pre-frontal lobes instead of Today's Headlines.

We do not need a president who has NO OPINION. He has one, he is just too damned chicken shit to say it.

Freddie is taking the medical warning for Viagra one step further. It now reads " Should you experience an erection lasting more than 4 hrs., run for president "

Thompson might not have an opinion of the Shiavo issue, but the ghoulish Howard Dean certainly does:

"We're going to use Terri Schiavo later on," Dean said of the brain-damaged Floridian who died after her feeding tube was removed...

And Dean is a trained physician. Pathetic.

As opposed to using the deaths of 3000 Americans as an excuse to invade a cuntry that had npthing to do with it? Yup, you're not brainwashed.
11:17 AM on 09/14/2007
Technically, no country had anything to do with 9/11, but I do agree with you that it doesn't justify invading sovereign nations who might have a few terrorists operating within their borders.

Pre-emptive defense is nothing more than an euphemism for invasion, and the actions of a handful of Muslims shouldn't have a response of invading two nations under the guise of "spreading democracy".

I am talking about Howard Dean's ghoul like tendencies, not the Iraqi war.

Do keep up.

I'm pretty sure Bill Frist, also a physician, had no idea he was playing to the screwballs who run the Republican party when he diagnosed her as curable by watching pictures of her on tv. Nor did Bush have any political intentions when he left his vacation behind to fly to Washington to sign a bill extending this poor woman's life. Can you imagine the victims of Katerina receiving as much heartfelt sympathy from any Republican? I sure as hell can't.
11:23 AM on 09/14/2007
He didn't diagnose her as curable. He said it appeared that she had cognitive function. But I agree, he's a screwball too...

What Howard Dean said was extremely inconsiderate, no?
