Edwards Pays (And Waits) For Post-Pres. Address

TV Newser:

The John Edwards campaign paid for its two minutes, but still had to wait. After the president's Oval Office address on troop strength and the U.S. commitment in Iraq, all the networks (except the Fox TV network special hosted by FNC's Shepard Smith) aired the Democratic response from Sen. Jack Reed.

Edwards campaign email obtained by TVNewser earlier today reminded potential donors, "Don't miss John's address tonight on MSNBC, immediately following the President." Not only was that Edwards "address" not "immediately following" the president, it came after an MSNBC panel discussion, an interview with Edwards' Democratic challenger Sen. Joe Biden, an interview with Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, a commercial break, then more interviews, NBC's Tim Russert then Brian Williams, and finally, two more commercial spots.

I wish Edwards would also respond about this latest subprime lending mess, this time a mortgage company he's in cohoots with is foreclosing on people in South Carolina. New Orleans, several in Long Island, now South Carolina. This very well could do in his presidential ambitions before its over.

Fox is terrified of John Edwards.
The Democrats Fox covers most like Biden
are the ones the Republicans want to run against.

Don't get me wrong, I like Biden, but the Republicans see him as another Gore or Kerry
who explains so much in detail his words can be twisted.

Biden has made a real effort to give shorter
unambiguous answers.
