Fmr PM Bhutto To Return To Pakistan October 18

Former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto will return to Pakistan from an eight-year exile on Oct. 18 to campaign for office, her party said Friday. The government said she was free to come back but would have to face corruption cases against her.

Makhdoom Amin Fahim, vice president of Bhutto's Pakistan People's Party, said she would land in Karachi and would bring democracy to Pakistan. Supporters, throwing flower petals and lighting firecrackers, chanted: "Long Live Benazir! Prime Minister Benazir!"

Pakistan needs a fair just leader who put the masses first , not use the countrys resources to find "war on terror" and spend on nuclear arms . instead create jobs and give the people hope for a better future .

zia al haq died because of his nuclear ambitions , his plane blew up in the air ( nerve gas was used) and no one knows who did it . FBI did investigate but no results were ever aired .

i did not understand why AL soud family insist that Nawaz sharif does not come back and stays away (he is in saudi right now ) as the saoudis know Mr Sharif is more Popular among the people than Busharaf . (Al soud doing the dirty work of Bush )

Pakistan today is a military junta in the stranglehold of theocracy where 81% of the population treat Osama BL as a "messiah". It has been pretty much this way since its birth in 1947! They experiment with Democracy every 10 years and Bhutto's coming back will be yet another farcical excercise in futility

It is a breeding ground for terrorists with the Al Qaida HQ in its NWFP area. It's intelligence agency, ISI, is almost 100% Taliban sympathetic. Little wonder then that Mussharraf signed a treaty this spring assuring the Taliban that the Pakistani army will not even bother to search there, let alone go after them!

Why various US administrations have considered it an "ally" for decades is beyond belief!?!
After 9/11 those who harbored terrorists were "enemies of America" and were to be dealt it with by the fake cowboy. So, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan remained allies and we attacked Iraq! Now Benazir is being brought in to provide more cover for this administration's aid to that terrorist Nation!
Both Countries are the Lord's gift to the military-industrial complex, the neocon's "base"!
