I think its significant that almost universally the press has been referring to these ads being placed by "left-wing" moveon.org, one can only assume in an efforit to 'marginalize' the message. Sure, they're stating the obvious truth but they're just one of those "left-wing" groups. What isn't mentioned is any organization that isn't hard-right is ipso-facto "Left-wing".

My question is why are Republicans, one after another, even some who are relatively decent persons, so comfortable with liars. They attack mercilessly homosexuals as sinners. Why are they so unaware, those who call themselves followers of Jesus, that no where in Scripture does Jesus condemn homosexuals in his time, but has very strong words for liars. Why can't Republicans see their own hypocrisy here? It would appear that they are too accepting of serial liars, beginning with the one in the WH.

The lies and manipulations which the BUSH/CHENY/LIEBERMAN CABAL along with their fellow travelers have been perpetrating upon this nation and the world at large ARE SO FAR "OVER THE TOP" as to defy REASON ITSELF, so babble me no more babble about "OVER THE TOP"!
As an old soldier who served this country for eight years and three days in two combat zones, my considered opinion is that "BETRAYUS PETRAEUS" should be court marshalled for "CONDUCT UNBECOMMING TO AN OFFICER", stripped of his rank, and discharged!

Any senior officer who, like Petraeous, insinuates himself into a national election on the side of a party in power--like he did in the 2004 election by publishing an OpEd piece in praise of the handling and progress of the war in Iraq--is a viable, legitimate target of public scrutiny and criticism. (Unheard of in our recent political history, BTW.)
