"If mothers ruled the world, there wouldn't be any god -" Emmy winner Sally Field said before the Emmycast cut her off her sound and pointed the camera away from the stage so viewers would be distracted. Cut off were the words "god-damned wars in the first place."

"How can this be?" she asked when she won best actress in a drama series for her work as matriarch Nora Walker on "Brothers & Sisters." While the two-time Oscar winner already has two Emmys, this was her first nomination for series work, and she bested a field that included favorite Edie Falco of "The Sopranos."

"This belongs to all the mothers of the world - may they be seen and valued," she said in a heartfelt speech that was only partially heard by Emmywatchers in the US while CTV in Canada did not cut her off.

I really liked the part when she said "... um, er, ub, er... I forgot what I was going to say...um, erb, ub...".

She strikes me as a nice uneducated lady who means well, but is lost without a script or a teleprompter.

I just watched the full video of Sally's speech. It was great! It should be aired on all stations so the rest of the country can see her passion. She is absolutely right! If people can't stand the heat, they should get out of the kitchen! Hats off to you girl!

By censoring her, more people will now hear her words because of You Tube and other blogs. Fox will go down in history as the traitors that they are, along side King George!

I want everyone here to pay close attention. I am going to do something you all of you deluded ideoloques are incapable of doing. I am going to concede a point. I was not aware that 6 days ago a small American Oil company (not a "Big Oil" company as I requested) had signed on to a high-risk venture to explore oil in Kurdistan Iraq. Still a far cry from the multi-billion dollar contracts won by Chinese and Indian firms to manage EXISTING oil reserves, but nevertheless I shall concede the point.

Do you guys think that this was all part of the Bush Neocon Cabal scheme for domination of the world's oil markets? I'm sure Cheney sent in some thugs to strong arm the Kurds into hiring his guys. It couldn't have anything to do with the fact that American oil exploration teams have proven themselves to be the world's best.
