When it came time to deliver her Senate speech in support of the war, she reiterated some of the most outlandish claims made by Dick Cheney. In this speech she said Saddam Hussein had rebuilt his chemical and biological weapons program; that he had improved his long-range missile capability; that he was reconstituting his nuclear weapons program; and that he was giving aid and comfort to Al Qaeda. The only other Democratic senator to make all four of these claims in his floor speech was Joe Lieberman. But even he didn’t go as far as Senator Clinton.

Democrats who have not seen the Guliani video on youtube, should watch it before deciding their vote for the Democrat they want to represent them.

The Clintons are the masters of two sidedness. This may or may not work, depending on whether the American electorate finally starts to take its role seriously enough, and do a little thinking about the direction the country should move in.
Rove, Inc., is salivating at the thought of Billary getting the nomination. It should be a constant theme of conscientous Democrats that:
A. The GOP smear machine is going to go into shock and awe mode when and if she becomes the nominee.
B. That the Clintons have nobody to blame but themselves for this-having provided that same smear machine with plenty of rope to hang them.
She's immune to the slime machine by now.
Repiglicans have ONLY themselves to blame for a Hillary premiership.
Their dyslexic alcoholic boy in the White House and his pathetic record will
a) devalue anything any Repiglican says for a long, long time because of his lies and deception, and
b) make Hillary look good by comparison.

I have been a big MCCain Kerry fan since the early 90's.
I have to say that debate shows houw strong a nominee McCain would be for the REpublicans.
He has it right on the War. He states his position with conviction and feeling.
Whether you disagree with the War (like I do) or are for it, having some one articulate their position like McCain can mitigate the negative.
The Democrats cannot nominate some one who voted for the War, because McCain or worse any of the other Republican nominees (who did not vote for the wAr) can saddle Clinton or Edwards wwith the soundbite:
"Well you voted for the War, and now you want to leave before the job is done..."
Actually, to voted to trust Bush about when and if to go to war. Still a huge mistake, but Bushco had Colin Powell vouching for them! Bush of course planned Operation Iraqi Liberation even before 9/11 but congress didn't know that yet. I can hope that 8 years of Bushco Fascist Fuckups has made the Democrats at least less naive.
No way, those days are over. Seventy percent of Americans are fed up with the war, and now know that they were sold a lemmon by the bush cabal.
If you think McCain is right about Iraq, I've got a bridge in the Mojave desert to sell you. How can you believe a man who says it is perfectly safe for an American to walk around in a Baghdad neighborhood, while wearing a bullet proof vest, with 100 US troops, and three Apache helicopter gunships, guarding him? The man is just as much a liar as baby bush, and apparently shares the same lack of conscience.

Flat out lie that shows what a hawk she was looking to portray herself as, when Bush was popular.
Now she is trying to portray herself as a dove.

All I know is, that democrats should not start eating their own, if they want a dem in the white house, come 08. The neo-cons were successfull in their hijacking of the republican party, because they DID STAY TOGETHER.
The neo-cons love to see dems fighting with each other.
Vote for the dem who gets the nomination. Anything else would just give the neos an advantage.
Look at her voting record then look at the results of those votes. Then tell me how good she is.

Tis whole discussion is stupid. Hillary is never going to please repubs, many of whom are in this discussion. She could keep the economy strong, end the war, find a diplomatic solution to the Middle East, provide health care for all, and find a cure for cancer and the right wingnuts would find something wrong with her.
Unfortunately many Democrats use the same talking points and uglyness which IMHO weaken Democratic serious debate. Critical debate is imperative, uglyness is... well ugly... and is stupid... on the other hand, I'm ashamed to say I sure enjoy it when it is directed at mr.bush-ch
I have lots of problems with Hillary, but to equate her with Neo-cons is just nasty spleen venting rhetoric.
The trouble with Hillary is that she is playing politics to win. We may disagree, but history shows the “savvy” candidates win over the sincere. So in some ways, we want her to be deceptive.
It's called "divide and conquer." Hillary is still miles above what we have now. If people would stop concentrating on Bill's blow job, and look at what he did accomplish, they would sing a different tune.
Hillary Clinton can't cook period.
