Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie once took powerful drug LSD before a trip to children's paradise Disneyland.

The Tomb Raider star admits taking the hallucinogenic drug before a trip to the tourist attraction in Orlando, Florida.

She says, "I remember taking LSD before I went to Disneyland. I started thinking about Mickey Mouse being a short, middle-aged man in a costume who hates life. Those drugs can be dangerous if you don't go into it positively - I gave them up long ago."

this is not a pity party for me but i have a first hand account on the effects of drugs on a person.
my brother died at the age of 56, due entirely to a lifetime of substance abuse. in the end he was atticted to alcohol and crack cocaine and anything else that he could lie, cheat or steal to attain. this problem started in his teens with the use of marijuana and alcohol, he never stopped. he was given every opportunity to stop, he chose not to, instead he led a life of short duration, low end jobs, the money he was short, he would be borrow or steal to sustain his habit. i cannot even begin to describe how his lifestyle affected everyone in his family. in his declining months, he was basically a street person, and lived in a creek surroundings, still addicted and still stealing, he had nothing but the clothes on his back and i bought them for him. on occasion he would remark about getting high with his son, my utter disgust was presented to my brother. when i last saw my brother it was in an icu room in a hospital, i was called to come to attend to my brothers affairs re: agreeing to take him off off life support. brothers immune system was so worn down by a lifetime of drug use that virtually every organ in his body had failed, he was bloated and his skin had turned black, i did not recognise him in the icu, i walked right past his bed. after the shock of seeing my comatose, near dead brother, i agreed to take him off of support, he died within 3 minutes. i speak of my brother as a person who had wasted his life, he had no redeeming qualities, he was a petty thief who lived from day to day to get his fix. excuse me for no agreeing to everyone's drug useage here, i have seen the result of excessive and indescriminate addiction.

I truly believe that some people just have addictive personalities. Outlawing drugs is just stupid. Lot's of people sniff glue and paint, even gasoline. You can't outlaw everything because a few people wish to destroy their brains.

"because a few people wish to destroy their brains", i would say more than a few. drug related crimes, including murder, have a huge effect on people, especially it seems, gang members. drugs beget violence and crime, its plain and simple.

I dropped and saw the movie Backdraft. I knew the movie I was "seeing" wasn't was others were when I heard the comment "Scott Glenn is the bad guy" and I thought "there's a bad guy?" saw the movie sober a few months later and a good laugh cause it was so not the same movie.

Dropped a tab once on the Greek Island of Rhodes (I'm sure Arianna can relate.) Peaked around 3am while walking through the ancient castle walls, met a beautiful girl from Seville... swam out across a warm, jewelled, pre-dawn mediterranean to an achored raft and watched the sun rise on a stunning vision of history. I will remember the trip for the rest of my living days.
