AP:

Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani met with Britain's prime minister Wednesday and vowed the U.S. would take any action necessary to keep Iran from becoming a nuclear power.

The former New York mayor is the latest GOP candidate to travel to Britain, meeting the new political guard and visiting former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, an icon for U.S. conservatives.

Well, now I see that most oppose a war on Iran, but what the hell are you damned suckers going to do when Bush announces that he has ordered it? What a sick nation, and once I heard a lot of Americans criticizing Germany for not stopping the Nazis. Of course, nobody here wanted to believe that any German was opposed to Hitler. If they had been he wouldn't have been able to do so much evil!
Yes! And if Americans .... Ha ha ha! And Shit!!!

Don't you love this 'we' business. An old man with prostrate cancer wanting to take a few thousand innocents down with him. What a fckhead.

Giuliani may believe that acting the role of tough guy will bring in votes, but I seriously doubt it. While his social agenda is reasonable, he is a big biz supporter 100 percent (meaning small and medium sized business and the public gets the shaft), and he appears to be a disaster in the world as far as diplomacy. He might make a good Secretary of Defense or Head of National Security (if someone keeps a leash on him), but the presidency is far over his head. Just an opinion.

WTF is rudy commenting on this issue for, he is not an elected government official, for gods sake he is an ex mayor, thats it. rudy has no business making these threats, ex mayors do not belong on the international stage.

Sure talks tough for a guy with several Vietnam deferments.

How about you apply that to yourself rudy? How many years would that set YOU back?

He said many things good about himself but forgot to say the most important thing " My English is far better than George Bush's "
and the Brits would probably agree.

We could set Iran back into the Stone Age.

He's referring to 5 or 10 years in their development of Nuclear weapons.

Hey, why not? Giuliani et. al. have already set the United States back 200+ years to the days before we had a Constitution, so why the hell not? After all, they ARE the overwhatses, right? zzzzzz

With 90% of the Iranian people pro American, we would lose for a lot longer than 10 years. What a moron.

Just what the nation needs--a New York "cowboy" with a "bring 'em on" attitude. We all know how well that's worked out the last 6 years don't we?

What an egomaniac! Who crowned him "America's Mayor" anyway? Must have crowned himself, then kissed his own feet.

I see nothing worthwhile in Rudy as a president. He sounds more like a dictator every day. Rudy would be the only candidate that could possibly outperform Bush as the worst president ever.
