Justin Dishes Britney: "I Haven't Spoken To Her In Years"

Justin Timberlake had kind words about Britney Spears, but said he hasn't spoken to his ex-girlfriend in a long time and couldn't offer any explanation for her recent bizarre behavior.

"What do you think is going on with Britney?" asked talk-show host Oprah Winfrey during an interview with Timberlake that aired Wednesday.

"I don't know, to be honest with you. I haven't spoken to her in years," the 26-year-old singer said. "There's no ill will. I have nothing but love for her."

I don't think he's being exactly truthful about not speaking to her in years, but I guess he really didn't want to discuss Brit which I can't blame him for.

Although its not his responsibility, I'm thinking Justine might be burying a little guilt for taking Brit's virginity and then essentially duping her. Brit married Kevin Federline on the rebound but since Kevin is reportedly still in love with Shar Jackson (his first baby mama), he wasn't always there when Brit needed him. What a pity for Brit.

Still there is no excuse for letting down her kids this way. I hope Brit can get it together before the judge decides to take the kids from her. Brit could wind up footing Shar Jackson’s bills after Kevin moves her into his home with all of his kids.

Remember the wardrobe malfunction with Janet Jackson, and Justine was on t.v. whining: "it was all Janet's fault; she's an older woman; I don't need this type of publicity", etc.

So the fact that Justine said “Britney has a huge heart, I have nothing but love for her”, blah, blah, blah, is really the best anyone can expect, and I guess all that is required.

Yet, since he was Brit's first, and according to the press she really love him, I expected a little more from him. Poor Brit.
