Another key McCain aide, Robert Terra, is quitting.

A protege of McCain's former rapid response director Matt David, Terra may join his mentor over at Freedom's Watch, the pro-war advocacy group that is seeking to go toe-to-toe with the MoveOns of the world on issues related to national security.

Terra trained two interns before leaving and they will take time off from their studies to staff and run the war room.

Poor lil McCain. you eat what you sow! It's pathetic that he is still in the race.

John McCain to sell Straight Talk Express..any takers?

..so there I was...Sitting at the bus stop eating my ham and cheese sandwich when out of the corner of my eye I caught what appeared to be John McCain sitting on the end of the bench. Upon further investigation I realized it was him. "Hi there, John...what gives, why are you sitting here all alone?", I questioned. Startled that someone was actually talking to him, McCain replied...

Please read on. http://newssophisticate.blogspot.com/2007/08/john-mccain-to-sell-straight-talk.html

McBush did your interns write that CLUMSEY punchline you repeated at the NRA?...."we're not gonna choose to lose."

It ranks right up there with chasing Bin Laden to the GATES OF HELL....your team has had 6 years, and Bin Laden is STILL making videos for hair color for men...why the F*CK is he even still breathing?

The "empty" praise heaped upon McCain from the

media is disgusting.

If only the media had their children and grandchildren

fighting on the ground in Iraq, McCain's stance would

be where it should be.........................at the bottom!

poor kids.

Well this makes perfect sense. Bush hired right-wing Republican kids to run the transitional CPA government in Iraq, why shouldn't McCain run his campaign with the same success.

The student learns from the master.

Next step will be to hire Britney as his campaign manager...

McCain is a peevish victim of circumstances. This is not an assessment of his situation, but a discription of his psyche.

When you "kiss a pig," that's what the "people" think you are! McCain is now known as a "PIG!" He is also known as a "Loser," and no one wants to contribute to a "Loser!" Thus, no contributions, no paid staff! Poor boy! He used to look like a "Winner," back when he tried to have "principles!" It's fortunate we all learned that was only an "act!"

Remember Tracey Kidder's 1975 book "The Soul of New Machine". It was about the 16 bit Eclipde Minicomputers. The last of the successful non-micrprocessor Mini-computers. Data General
had it designed by kids to save money. Low paid ne college grads who worked hard for next to nothing
to get experience.

Don't underestimate interns. Of course the real
liability is McCain. If these kids had a candidate like Ron Paul to work with that would be different. I think Paul should hire them when McCain crashes and burns.

Not quite true, not that many would care.

'Soul of a New Machine', a great book from 1981,
was about Data General's effort to compete with
Digital Equipment's VAX (wildly successful, for its day).
Both were 32-bit minicomputers, and neither was the
'last successful non-microprocessor' mini, although
the end was near, as it turned out.

And the end may be near for McCain's bid, also.

I think that "bomb Iran" song showed his true colors, and that was way over the line. But he just doesn't get whats going on in America.

Intern implies either free or cheap labor. AKA McCain has no cash. Nothing new here.

I really hope he can pull it through. As much as disagree with the surge and other key issues, if it has to be any Republican in the White House I want it to be him.

When all the apples are rotten it doesn't matter which you choose. Why bother having a preference? McCain's a bush lapdog and a phony flip-flopper extraordinaire.
