She uses the laugh sometimes to deflect an important question. her camp believes that if she laughs the audience would not take the question seriously. typical ploy used in communications.

She laughed because she OBVIOUSLY couldn't believe how stupid and shallow Chris Wallace is--and didn't want to say "Are you REALLY that stupid and shallow, Chris?"
Of course, when he said "give my regards to the President", she was in such a chuckle mood all she could think of was "You want me to pass on your regards to BUSH?????" And clearly, since Wallace meant her husband, who ripped him a new asshole and set the path for SMART Democrats, that would have been JUST as amusing.
And, of course, it was typically right-wing demeaning of Wallace, as if to say to her "Ha-ha--HE was the President and YOU are nothing next to that even though you are the front-runner". Of course, laughing at Wallace killed THAT nasty little innuendo as well!
No, laughing at moronic shitheads like Chris Wallace publicly, is the PERFECT response to him!
Hillary keeps coming closer and closer to winning my vote, and not just by default. She's not there yet, and I'd LOVE to see Gore in the race (but he won't do that as long as she's the front-runner or a first-line candidate), and I prefer Edwards--but she's doing better and better every day.
Yeah - getting quite a bit closer to settling on Hillary too.
She's shrewd, smart, and tough enough to dish it out as needed. I see Edwards wilting in the full heat of the election battle.

that being said, she comported herself exactly right during the fox interview. by making light of wallaces' right wing talking points in that manner she trivialized them by deftly mocking without seeming boorish.

That was the most sincere side of Hillary Clinton I've seen - and I loved it. What a wonderful way to comment on the hilarity of the Fox News Network. Laughter was the perfect response. Good for her.

Do you people have a proof reader? Your caption above the Youtube link says this is a CNN report. Last time I checked, Chris Wallace works for FOX news-and that is what shows on the video. This is journalism?
The bold big font header at the top of the page says "Clinton cracks up Throughout Fox News Interview". It does say CNN just above the vid in much smaller font - but come on ...
