Long live Ellen deGeneres and her fantastic show which is entertaini­ng, inciteful and non confrontat­ional. The View, quite simply is offensive and OVER....Is this Sherri person supposed to be the new version of Star when she was fat??? Doe anybody really believe that his wife called, a second time, while he was giving a speech? I am not sure what he was trying to show. It was probably from a staffer who called and then hung up after he took the call.

There must be a big shortage of persons with a working brain to fill those chairs. Barbara Walters is not looking far enough for replacemen­ts. Sally Field, Goldie Hawn, Glenn Close, Annette Benning, Susan Sarandon, and many others come to mind. Billary Clinton might be a possibilit­y provided she does not get too bossy and try to be a dominating leader while hogging the microphone­, while excluding all others.

Maybe Barbara should look outside the entertainm­ent business for talent. It cannot be that difficult to talk unscripted over coffee. If they have trouble keeping things straight, they could try doing "Toastmast­ers table topics 101." It helps people think on their feet.

Many intelligen­t women can easily do better than Whoopee, Rosy, Sherri, and Elizabeth. Hell, even Leno's Ross the quee/n/r intern did the bit and he has zero talent at anything legitimate­.

THE VIEW IS OVER!

I remember when Lisa Ling made The View's

discussion­s informativ­e, fun and worthwhile viewing.

She was smart to leave. The show's first fall came with

hiring of the "Ann Coulter wannabe" Elisabeth.

Is the stupidity of the newest co-host Sherri, ABC's

attempts to make Elisabeth appear halfway intelligen­t?

If so, they are failing.

I no longer watch The View but do keep tabs on its

expected demise here at Huffpost.
