The truth of the matter is OBAMA had been very busy with photo shoots with celebrities like the "Talk Show Queen", pandering with Hollywood film makers about movie projects, going over his choice as to who will play him on a movie of his life, finally approving Denzel Washington. He has been busy with book reviews of his self serving book, and mingling with actors, celebrities etc.

That's all he has been doing for the last 3 years. Already he is been goofing around. How can you not know that the Senate is about to vote. Agent of Change ? OBAMA is hardly been doing what he was elected for .

On the other hand, THE VIEW, is going down and losing viewers. Of course OBAMA is aware of that, so he cancelled. So now, he figures he can get away with his excuse "Oh, by the way I have to cast my vote."

It would be nice to see Obama talk about something nice.....like helping Peru develope it's natural gas and Oil resorses. Iran's pres. is there today pledging that he and Iran will help Peru with developement and sales of their resorses. Apparently Peru has alot of proven gas and oil resourses...much is not evplored.

If you want to diversify, why don't you have an arts and culture page?

It would be more redeeming than the crap you run on the "entertainment" page.

I can't help but to be struck by the pervasive domineering and selfish attitudes of those who insist that clips of The View not be posted on the site. It's one thing to criticize the content of The View but who appointed you editorial consultants?

Christ, there's like sixty different stories on the home page and there will likely be another sixty tomorrow. Where's your sense of appreciation and respect for the work that's put into the site, as well as a little bit of tolerance for diversity in the content? You have so much to choose from! Haven't you figured it out yet that the Huffington Post also includes topics on television shows and other forms of entertainment. Skip 'em if you don't want to see 'em. It's really not complicated.

By the way, I don't care much for The View myself but it's not all bad. I got a hearty laugh out of Whoopie's take on the Bill O'reilly controversy - which I probably wouldn't have seen otherwise if it weren't for HuffPo.

I love the View stuff for variety, and this was particularly funny.

If you want only serious political news, go read dailyKos. This site is for all of us, not just angst-ridden libs.

I only clicked on this story to make a comment: please stop featuring stories and video of "The View," unless something momentous is said or occurs--like an extended interview where Ms. Walters attempts to make [fill in name of disgraced Republican] cry, or a presidential nominee drops all pretense and speaks frankly, ending his/her career. Otherwise, we don't need this limp and shabby television program even filtering across our consciousness as our eyes scan down the page. If you're desperate to feature "talk" headlines, can't you call our attention to something else? You've already made the point of how degraded our culture is by alerting us to the brain dead among "The View"'s varied hosts, so let's move on.

I am glad that Ariana allows the View to be shown, I find it funny and engaging. Plus it is nice to see two African American women giving their diverse views. Maybe White America will realize African Americans don't look or think alike...
