Seymour Hersh, The New Yorker's Pulitzer-Prize winning investigative journalist, writes in a new article entitled "Shifting Targets" that there has been "a significant increase in the tempo of attack planning" for war with Iran inside the Bush administration.

Most significantly, Hersh -- who has been warning for months that the administration is seriously plotting for war with Iran -- reports the administration has switched its rationale for war. The focus has shifted from a broad bombing attack against Iran's nuclear facilities to "surgical" strikes again Revolutionary Guard Corps facilities in Tehran and elsewhere.

On CNN's Late Edition this morning, Hersh said the administration has adopted what it views as a rationale that can win over the public and international allies, while accomplishing its key objective of initiating a military conflict.

We have no business attacking Iran. We have no funds to attack Iran, no troops. Our troops already have combat fatigue, and Bush is forcing this insane attack, its treason. When the hell will Congress do its job and end this already? Oil isn't worth more loss of human life. Is this what our country has become, a nation that puts oil over its people's safety, thier health? Bush is pushing to get hit from all sides. If he thinks only Iran would enter into this bloodbath, he is crazy, not that he cares. Someone, please tell Mr. Cheney and Bush, its time to walk away.
Both men talk about how this is going to stop terrorism, oh really? Hmmm, No co chise, this is going to ignite it. Its time to end it before it begins. Oil isn't worth the investment. Our troops should go awol now. "This is both insane and irresponsible." The voice of reason, Mario Cuomo, said it best. Why aren't they listening?

"There's no such thing as a winnable war ..
it's a lie we don't believe anymore.
Mister Che-ney said 'we will bury you!'
I don't sub-scribe to that point of view.
It's such an ig-no-rant thing to do
If the Americans love their children too."

-- with due apologies to Sting... who would undoubtedly agree.

Does Bush think that once the US bombs the Revolutionary Guard facilities in Iran, the Iranians are just going to sit there and do nothing? Ahmadinejad is more than capable of attacking US bases in Iraq. When Clinton ordered precision strikes in Iraq, Sudan, and Afghanistan, the ability by these countries to retaliate was limited by their economy, technology, and the lack of proximity to US interests. That is not the case with Iran. If the US takes this unconscionable action, it would only deepen the chasm of acrimony with Islamic countries and escalate the bloodbath in Iraq.

This idiot Commander in Chief Bush thinks they won't want to strike back, in any and every way they can, is he crazy. Imagine having a President, that won't listen to his own people, and like a pyromaniac, likes to set fires off, all over the place. This fool in the White House, would spark a Third World War, and say, FO don't bother me, the next President will take care of it.

He wants to leave such a pile of shit, and bloody mess and disaster behind him, that Americans get suckered into voting for a Republican HE MAN, instead of an American Iron Lady. The whole predicate of attacking Iran before the next election cycle, stinks to high heaven.

A message for the Religious Right Wing Bible Thumping Extremists, God, doesn't like the smell of sulfur and excrement. Bush better talk to God about the BS, he's going to sling his way.

Iran's not the problem, Bush is.
