Iran Calls Log Cabin Republicans Terrorists
Iran's President Ahmadinejad announced today that Iran had declared the Log Cabin Republicans a terrorist organization. He called on the UN to authorize strong sanctions because of the organization's continuing efforts to introduce homosexuality into Iran. The President said that this was the greatest threat to the straightness of Iran since the Sodomites' efforts in 100 BC.

Many on the far right say that if you make fun of Bush then it means that you are a traitor that's wants the terrorists to win and many on the far left say that if you make fun of Saddam,Ahmadinejad or the loon in North Korea then you are pro war.Both views are,of course,ludicrous,nonsensical,and ignorant and show that many on the far right and far left want to limit freedom.People like Bush and Ahmadinejad say and do things that set them up for ridicule and they should be made fun of.

Homosexuality is NOT a practice. Its is an inborn sexual orientation. People who are born gay - are still gay regardless if they ever have sex. It is someone who is sexually and romantically attracted to the same sex - acting on it is not necessary.

If roles were reversed, and Bush was over, interviewed by Tehran's University head, would you expect this person to be attacked in such a way? Great skit. The only thing funnier is the nitwits who compare Ahmahjerkapenis to Bush, not even vaguely cognizant of the fact that were they in Iran criticizing Ahmahjerkapenis they'd be swinging from a rope. Too funny!
If Ahmadinejad was as bad as Bush the Iranians would have had him swinging from a rope a long time ago.They would'nt have wasted precious time nattering and bitching with their heads up their asses like Americans do, until it's too late to stop that psychopath in the White House.

Perhaps if one is young enough, it is difficult to recall how recently it was that in America, individuals, families, communities and the country were in full denial regarding homosexuality here. Perhaps we are witnessing such individual denial presently in the United States Senate. We can’t know that for sure.
The fact that gay people parade down major streets in America or even marry does not suggest enlightenment has come to our own nation. Can anyone recall the 1999 murder of Matthew Shepard in Laramie, Wyoming, without recoiling with disgust? It would seem therefor that we snicker not at Iran and its president but at ourselves.
Then to the skit, where did it go? As one comment to this post suggests, it depicts President Ahmadinejad in a dress. So? That Iran has not yet examined homosexuality puts them what, thirty-five years behind our own examination? For that we can crow?
Executions? Perhaps we should recall how Texas put down 350 souls during George Bush’s term as governor there. Was the mocking execution of Carla Faye Tucker a higher moral matter that executions in Iran, public or no? In most every county in America there are people still living who know about public executions outside the courthouses of their own community. Perhaps we should have the humility to be understanding of President Ahmadinejad’s difficult job in governing without enraging the “Bull” Conners of Iran.
Satire? Not hardly. Nervous laughter perhaps. More accurately a clumsy attempt to further humiliate President Ahmadinejad. And certainly a failure to critically examine his way of presenting the Iranian case so that we can further understand and communicate with Iran on important issues.
Executing murderers, as we do in the US, is not equivalent to executing homosexuals or rape victims, as they do in Iran.
Oh God, it was bound to happen. The execution of convicted murderers being compared with a straight face to folks in Iran being executed for being gay or insufficiently devoted to Allah. I'll let you know when I stop laughing. 35 years behind? Too stupid to deserve a respone.

The Hillary skit that opened the show was pretty funny, too, though not as LOL funny as the Pelosi skit after the elections.
This is possibly one of the weakest excuses of comedy that I have seen in a long time. Almost as funny as the one where a grown man tries to change a diaper and becomes all thumbs....The president of Iran in a dress...
