CNN:

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid slammed Rush Limbaugh Monday over his recent controversial "phony soldiers" remark, despite the conservative talk-radio host's protests that his words have been taken out of context.

Limbaugh's comments in question came last Wednesday when he and a caller were discussing critics of the Iraq war:

"What's really funny is, they [Iraq war critics] never talk to real soldiers," the caller said. "They like to pull these soldiers that come up out of the blue and talk to the media."

The Dems are just as bad as everyone else, say whatever they want to get elected and never follow thru. What's up with waisting our tax dollars debating Rush? What a sham.

The Dem leadership should resign for trivializing their duties, and allow some new blood to take the lead. Present Dem learship is entrenched, jaded, and perform no differently from the Repub leadership that they replaced. It is time to for the Dems in Congress to begin to EARN our votes!!

Sen. Reid has courageous sons and a son-in-law serving America as K street lobbyists.

Good gawd Reid!...Will you ever get a brain? Please go see the Great Oz and maybe he will give you a brain, Pelosi courage and Hillary a heart! As much as I might disagree with Rush Limbaugh, I say let him say whatever he wants! I am more concerned with the wasteful use of life and money in Iraq than anything that fat ass draft dodging douche bag says!

Not only will the honorable Rush Limbaugh not apologize, he has and will continue to edit the official transcript of his show so that any offensive comments he has made on the air were in fact never said at all on the official record.

But as the most powerful broadcaster in the history of America, Rush Limbaugh can and will take it farther than that. He has the power to alter not only his own reality, but the supposed reality all dissenters and America-haters are fooled into believing.

Rush Limbaugh can and must tell his millions and millions of faithful listeners that it is not he who disrespected the troops, but all liberals and anyone who does not fully support the war in Iraq. They are the real enemy. Whatever Rush Limbaugh says can and must be considered the truth and be believed above all else.

Rush is right. Everyone else is wrong. That is all.

I second Wade, the dems shouldn't waste their time on the Big Fat Talking Head, they should
be making it clear that they have unity of purpose sufficient to the task of carrying
a vote to the Senate floor to end the war,
post-haste and forthwith. Option 2: Resign
THEIR posts, and permit people that are able,
capable, and competent to the task of doing
same to get to the front of the line...we don't
need Billary's Healthscare Donuts, we need
Congresscritters with enough SAND to 'get er done'. 9 trillion in the red, and counting...

This 'Betray Us' motion was bound to snowball. Now we can spend our remaining days taking Congressional umbrage. Did your mother ever say, "Don't make a Federal Case over it."? Listen to your mother.

Yep, instead of the job they were sent to do, which is to get the United States out of Iraq, they're mired down censuring Rush Limbaugh.

Think: War Candidates.

Candidates with NO party affiliation whose only campaign promise is to bring an end to the Iraq/Iran conflict, if elected.
