DNC Launches Attack On "Country Club" Republicans Avoiding Minorities

The Democratic National Committee released a video this morning slamming the '08 GOP field for repeatedly snubbing minority debates and voter forums. The "American Dream" web-video urges viewers to "tell GOP candidates we want a president who represents all Americans, not just country club members."

The refusal of GOP candidates to appear at events for African-Americans and Hispanics has been criticized by figures across the political spectrum, including President Bush. The video lists a slew of other minority events the GOP candidates have snubbed:

Fred Thompson's decision to skip the recent PBS African-American voter forum hosted by Tavis Miley was first reported by Huffington Post's Sam Stein. HuffPost's Michael Roston looked into the "scheduling conflicts" that candidates blamed for their absence and discovered most of the candidates were attending fundraisers.

As opposed to the spineless Dems who are NOT REPRESENTING THE WILL OF THEIR CONSTITUENTS, Dr. Dean?

Sorry, Howard, but you just "screwed the pooch" on this one.

Yes, the PEOPLE want a President (AND a Congress) "who represents all Americans, not just country club (read: FAT CAT LOBBYISTS) members.".

It's high time for the Dems to stop pointing fingers at the other party and "clean up their own backyards"!!

CUT FUNDING FOR THE WAR AND BRING OUR TROOPS HOME, NOW!!!
