Sharon Osbourne Announces Christina Aguilera's Pregnancy

Sharon Osbourne went on "Ellen" and talked about selling her house to pop star Christina Aguilera today. Aguilera has been sporting a serious bump of late, although she has yet to confirm she is expecting or make any announcement. Sharon went ahead and does it for her. From NBC 10/5

It hasn't been officially announced or confirmed by the pregnant woman.
Not that it needs to be.
The "baby bump watch" obsession of the paparazzi and tabloids makes every photo taken of a celebrity after an over-indulgent visit to a buffet "proof" of a pregnancy. It's invasive, its rude and quite frankly, it's no one's business but the person carrying the child.
Same goes for Isla Fischer and Sasha Baron Cohen... they never officially announced...
Nor did J-Lo/Marc Anthony... nor did Nicole Richie (until she did her sit down with Diane Sawyer...)
Truthfully, just because the trashy soulless hacks of the paparazzi and tabloid business announce you pregnant, doesn't mean you're under any obligation to announce.
Also, and this might be a stretch but...
Christina Aguilera's husband is Jewish...
And Sasha Baron Cohen is and Isla Fisher converted (?)...
Jewish tradition -- you don't discuss it early, you don't have baby showers, you don't decorate a child's room -- nothing until the child is born so you don't jink the pregnancy/birth. It's tradition but it makes sense.
Honestly, it's no one's business and if the person IS pregnant, it'll be obvious enough to one and all... it's snubbing their nose at the overly intrusive press and their sense of entitlement for information that isn't theirs..
It's private and not for their consumption/abuse.
