SNL Rips Fred Thompson: "How Badly Do I Want To Be Your President? On A Scale Of One To Ten, How 'Bout A Six?"

SNL's Darrell Hammond rips on Fred Thomspon for being lazy/lacksadaisacal — but lets him off easy for not actually knowing all that much. Would have been vastly improved by the presence of a giant stogie.

This wasn't one of SNL's chosen YouTube vids so here are a few moments:

Fred Armisen popped in as Sam Waterson but I think I would have rather seen Kirsten Wiig or Amy Poehler crawling all over him as the nubile Jeri. Also, wondering if the SNL live audience got the "round of applause" joke. I'm going to go with "no" because they applauded but didn't seem to actually laugh.

Typical GOP shenanigans : run a famous zero to attract the ignorance vote. Since he's a zero, he will be easy for someone like Rove to manipulate like a puppet. Man ! Do I hate the GOP ! ( and I used to be a republican back when I knew nothing about the world of politics).
