That decades of deliberate wealth transfer to the richest few polarized Mexican society into a small group of mega-millionaires and billionaires while screwing the rest of the population? Please, that's what NAFTA was designed to do and what CAFTA is doing in Central America now. And it's what's going to happen in Peru and Colombia once the Dem's roll over on those FTAs as well.
Slim and his cronies (north and south of the border) are proof that corporate protectionism treaties (misleadingly named "free trade agreements") work perfectly for the elite class that writes them.
The fact is you guys have to rebuild your country. It's in shambles. You started with common good, and you end with individual extragance and abject poverty.

It is such a sad joke, that all the liberal elites and bleeding hearts are supporting illegal immigration, believing it was to help Mexico’s poor, but in reality it is simply to drive down America’s standard of living, destroy unions and offer a supply of cheep labor to our greedy corporate over-lords.

i fear soon we won't have to look to Mexico as a model of this type of economy. America's middle class grows less and less relevant each day.
With a shrinking U.S. middle class frightened of immigrants by Lou Dobbs, Mexican peasantry will become a rare thing north of the border.
Fruit is dying on the vine in California, stuck there due to a lack of pickers.
Fewer bourgeois in the States means fewer lawns to mow and fewer sales of oranges or flowers at the freeway offramp.
With Senor Slim's money he can hire an army of geeks with state of the art computers to do his bidding while he enjoys his money in ways which please him. It may surprise some but a number of people have less than no desire to learn how to use a computer & own a computer.
Now the really important question. Does he have a 24/7 bartender like Diddy?
