Bush Admin's Leak Of Osama Video "Ruined" Al Qaida Spying Efforts

A small private intelligence company that monitors Islamic terrorist groups obtained a new Osama bin Laden video ahead of its official release last month, and around 10 a.m. on Sept. 7, it notified the Bush administration of its secret acquisition. It gave two senior officials access on the condition that the officials not reveal they had it until the al-Qaeda release.

Within 20 minutes, a range of intelligence agencies had begun downloading it from the company's Web site. By midafternoon that day, the video and a transcript of its audio track had been leaked from within the Bush administration to cable television news and broadcast worldwide.

The founder of the company, the SITE Intelligence Group, says this premature disclosure tipped al-Qaeda to a security breach and destroyed a years-long surveillance operation that the company has used to intercept and pass along secret messages, videos and advance warnings of suicide bombings from the terrorist group's communications network.

Agh! You'd think if there were one thing this almost fascist administration could handle, it would be NOT leaking sensitive information. Oh...wait, no, they've done that and been caught red handed.

This administration is 100% about politics and nothing else. Politics of power and greed, that is. Staying in power and generating as much cash as possible for the extremely wealthy is the only thing they care about. If a couple agents working for our country get killed, in their minds, it's no big deal compared to being able to pitch their strategy on the "war on terror" (which I still think is silly, how do you declare war on an emotion? It's really just a war on crime, right? Terrorists are just criminals in the big picture view, and criminals are caught with police. Why can't more Americans understand this very basic concept?)

A nation is its people, and if its representatives are not working with the best interests of all or at least the majority of its people, then they are traitors to that nation. Islamic terrorists use military tactics and strategy. They're mostly armed with military grade weaponry and explosives.
Police and various counter-terrorism groups:FBI, Omon, FSB etc. deal with them within national borders.

However, because Taliban and Al Qaeda made an alliance this became a matter between nations.
Hence a number of countries+ Afghanis themselves ( Northern Alliance) went in and kicked out Taliban and Al Qaeda.
