"Fox & Friends" Compares "Clinton Cackle" To "Dean Scream"

During the October 9 edition of Fox & Friends, co-host Steve Doocy asked Republican pollster Frank Luntz: "What do you think of [Democratic presidential candidate] John Edwards -- the guy with the $400 haircut -- yesterday, saying, 'Hey, don't be so fast to pick [Sen.] Hillary [Rodham Clinton (D-NY)]. Remember [former Vermont Gov.] Howard Dean [D].' " As Luntz responded, "[Y]es, remember how Howard Dean went up, and remember how Howard Dean came down," Fox News aired an audio clip of Dean's exclamation during his 2004 concession speech after the Iowa Democratic presidential primary. After Doocy replied, "That's like a cackle," Fox News aired part of an audio clip of Clinton laughing during a September 23 interview on Fox Broadcasting Co.'s Fox News Sunday.

The "Dean Scream" was a calculated hit on the Dean campaign & it worked. The more the rightwing fring and the lazy mainstream media played the clip, the more morning zoo morons who played it on radio, the more late nite hosts who anchored their monologues around Dean as the punchline, the more the story that Dean was unpredictable & crazy was fed to the public, the more it became the accepted truth.
But anyone in the room new better, whether supporter, campaigner or member of the media.
The microphone was hooked up to a PA system. Media covering the event plugged their cameras into a media bridge or sound board. What does that do?
Ever buy a live CD? If you're in the arena, it sounds a lot different than what you hear on the CD that was recorded there. The vocals on the live CD are taken from the feed going directly from the singer's microphone into the mix board.
What does this mean?
It didn't SOUND like that IN the room with Dean.
It sounded like that on the footage recorded with the audio taken from the soundboard. People KNEW this -- especially reporters, news producers, TV producers, camera and audio folks.
Then 5 days later Queen Ditz Diane Sawyer ponders in her singsong voiceover -- after the damage is done -- "we wondered..­. what did it sound like in the room? what would we have heard if we were there."
The video footage they showed was from a camera that DID NOT take an audio feed from the board -- it was just a guy with a handheld.
You couldn't HEAR Dean.
The crowd would cheer, he'd talk louder to talk over them. They'd get even louder, so would he.
He didn't sound crazy in the room (excited and swept up in the moment, yes) -- only on the audio feed the MSM intentionally chose to run again and again...
It's TV/video 101 folks - they CHOSE to use this opportunity to demolish that campaign.
And he likely wouldn't have made it much further - but then again, we'd never know.

Mr Ailes had a brilliant idea when he had reeds inserted in the rectums of all of Faux Nudes on air employees. It amplifies the sounds & it also gives each on air employee a unique, distinct, sound, note & tune to easily identify each one. Mr Ailes is funding tests on using reeds in colostomy stoma's too due to his concern for the rights of the disabled to be heard.
