NBC Universal said Tuesday it is buying female-oriented cable television network Oxygen Media for approximately $925 million.

Yeah, and we all know how well media conglomeration is working for our country. But oh, I forgot, it's all about the advertising. At least Oxygen doesn't carry any news.

One question: will Oprah after the Show still come on? I loves it!

YOU NEED TO CHECK YOUR DEMOGRAPHICS...OXYGEN IS FOR WOMEN OF ALL AGES WHO LIKE INTELLIGENT PROGRAMS AND NOT REALITY GARBAGE LIKE BROADCAST STATIONS THINK. YOU NEED TO CHECK WHAT THE RETIREES AND THE BOOMERS ARE WATCHING...THEY HATE REALITY SHOWS UP ONE SIDE AND DOWN THE OTHER. THE ONLY ONE THEY WATCH IS DANCING WITH THE STARS.
