I will share the worst lyric I have ever heard. Several years ago, my cousin had a teen idol crush on Joey Lawrence. He had a pop song out and she played it incessantly. I have tried to delete it from my cerebral hard drive, so I don't recall the title, but I can't seem to shake the sound of squeaky Joey attempting to rap the lyric, "You look at me like I smell like a zoo."

Whoever initiated this list is profoundly ignorant and disturbed.
Blender just happens to top my list of "never heard of him" and is 2nd on my list of completely worthless lists made by people on my "never heard of him" list.
I remember way back in 77 when i was first reading LOTR and just falling in love with ZepIV. I really like those lyrics. So I guess that makes Blender a complete ass. Butt, then again I like big asses and I cannot lie.

Never much cared for Sting or the Police and never bothered to pay attention to any of his lyrics.
Sting rocks and is one of the FEW intelligent lyricists in song-writing today.

I will assume the so-called experts at Blender have never heard Sting's 4-minute masterpiece "Fragile." In my opinion, the lyrics for that song are some of the greatest words ever put to music.
Where is Mariah Carey on this list? Surely there is no one in the vast universe who writes worse lyrics than her. Example: "Its just like honey, when you love comes over me"....or how bout this lyric torn from an 8th graders love letter: "Dreamlover come rescue me, take me up, take me down, take me anywhere you want to baby now".
Only a SMALL handful of those "diva" types write their own material.
wtf is Blender? There have got to be thousands of song writers who deserve to be on that list before Mr. Sumner.
Sting isn't that bad, in fact, is rather good.
