Americans Against Escalation In Iraq, the major umbrella group organizing activism against the Iraq war, is pushing out an ad later today blasting the GOP '08 frontrunners for their claims about Iraq during yesterday's CNBC debate, and praising Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) as "the only GOP candidate who gets it on Iraq." Take a look:

Lets face it, for those of us who are against the war, RON PAUL IS THE ONLY CHOICE!

My fellow anti-war voters have to realize that Ron Paul is the only anti-war candidate who has a chance to win.

Hillary, at this point, appears to be a sure thing in the Democratic party- and she supported the war up until very recently, and still hasn't apologized for her irresponsible pro war vote.

The Republican field is a mess- 5 candidates are in the running financially (you can write off those who aren't raising any money at this point)- Giuliani, Romney, Ron Paul, McCain, and Thompson.

In that mixed up field, Ron Paul DOES have a chance- if you oppose the war, do like I did- change your party registration to Republican and vote for Ron Paul in the primaries, join a local "Ron Paul" group at meetup.com and volunteer your time, and donate at Ronpaul2008.com !

Patronizing, liberal-friendly gestures.

I hope all of you who support Ron Paul based solely on the fact that he is anti-war and anti-drug laws actually look into the real Libertarian agenda. In their Utopia absolutely everything would be privately operated. There would be no consumer protections because the "free market would take care of it" (good thing we already know that asbestos is dangerous). It's basically the Ayn Rand party.

Imagine our current Health Care system and apply that to Schools, roads, Police & Fire Department, the Military, justice, social security.
Imagine the Neo-Con attitude towards business and apply it ten-fold towards worker protections, consumer protections, free trade policy, environmental protections.

I'm sorry, but Libertarians are far scarier than Neo-cons.

The recent "debate" between the Republican Presidential candidates went on for two hours. Ron Paul was granted about 7 minutes. It wasn't a "debate" it was an exercise in political propaganda.

As a liflong Democrat this time I've had it with both the Democrat and Republican parties. However this time I am voting for Dr. Ron Paul.

Only Ron Paul has a chance of restoring the Republic. Based upon the Constitution. Our Constitutional Republic. All else afterwards can be decided demoncratically. If we don't have a constitutional republic we ain't got sh**. Oh, we will have our glorious Empire, though.

NOT GOOD. Think about it folks, why would George Soros, international criminal and communist and one worlder, want to support Dr Paul? No he's just trying to smear him. Dr Paul must be livid. I know I am...

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

I am a Ron Paul supporter and I don't see this as a bad thing. This is a coalition of many organizations....not George Soros. Are you saying that members of all of these organizations are not "worthy" to support or vote for Dr Paul? Groups/organizations, etc. can disagree about many things but have one thing they agree on that draws them all together. All of these groups are against war in Iraq....just like Dr Paul. Has any other candidate spoken out against war in Iraq? I have often wondered why campaign has not actively sought backing of the many anti-war groups in this country...especially considering the polls that show high percentage of Americans are against war in Iraq. Seems like Dr Paul would be a "no brainer" for these groups. Now some of them have actually banded together and come forward in support of Dr Paul and if I understand you correctly..... you think it is a conspiracy?

I'm a Ron Paul voter. I wish he had a better environmental policy. I wish he was pro-choice. But I'm afraid that the two kids that I actually did choose to keep are going to be drafted and killed in a stupid, go no-where war.

I figure that the abortion thing will go back to the states until the Dems get brave and actually amend the Constitution, and the environment isn't going to be solved by anybody elected this time out anyway.

I just want us out of the Middle East.

What a joke our "press" is. Dr. Paul wins every debate, as polling shows after each one. He not only 'wins,' he trounces, with 65 to 80 percent of the votes, the remaining spread among the rest of the bought-n-paid-for hypes (Huckabee's Ok as is Hunter, for the most part).

But Dr. Paul scares the living daylights out of the main stream press, so they completely ignore the polls where he creamates all other candidates.

Is this the press once again picking the candidates for us?

I will never ever vote for a stinking Libertarian even if he is anti-war. Libertarianism is law of the jungle. Not fit for building or maintaining a civil society. You can try to resurrect Ayn Rand if you wish, but I will work against it.

If Ron Paul does not win the republican nomination all anti-war issues will be off the table for the general election. Instead, the repub nominee will continue to whip up fearful xenophobia and the dems will try to prove they are not 'wimps'. Dangerous!

I gotta agree with daveg and commonsenseman.

My family are life long patriotic people. They consist of doctors, small business owners, tax reps and all of my family served this country. Grandfathers served in WWII, uncles in 'Nam and my father is retired Army. Every single one of them supports Dr. Paul.

Im a conservative. More importantly Im an American that believes in America and the document it was founded upon. I dont believe in either 'party'. Neither has done much to protect our liberties or our financial security. Both want more government programs, will find ways to either tax or inflate and more regulations shoved down our throats.

Clinton wont say she will pull the troops, Obama wont pull the troops, Richardson just changed his position. You want out of Iraq? ELECT RON PAUL!

Who really wants more of the same sh*t? Bush-Clinton-Clinton-Bush-Bush-CLINTON?????? You gotta be insane to want to keep this same mess up. The middle class is vanishing, the illegals are pouring into this country, the value of our money is losing and we are going BROKE!

Meanwhile, we hear from the Dems that they want to give 'amnesty' under these economic conditions? Instead of dealing with the problem, as Ron Paul proposes, ending birthright citizenship so we dont subsidize and encourage MORE illegal aliens. What a great idea.. dont give them incentive and they probably wont come.

I often think that the reason nobody is doing anything about illegal immigration is partly due to the NAU. If America lets the North American Union get a foot in this country, you can kiss the American Dream goodbye.

'They call it the American Dream because you gotta be asleep to believe it.' G. Carlin

WAKE UP!!!

Establishment Republicans are fascists.

Establishment Democrats are fascist wannabes.

Ron Paul is the equivalent of an atomic bomb being dropped on the establishment. Bombs away!

Great ad. Thanks for discussing it in HuffPo. Before we are Democrats, before we are Republicans, we are American and lovers of Liberty, Peace, and Justice. For sure, our history does not always reveal us to be practical implementers of these ideals, but they have not gone away and are stirring powerfully now in the Ron Paul campaign.

I feel sorry for democrats who vote for Hillary thinking she will get out of Iraq or prevent conflict with Iran.

You will be very disappointed.

Talk about switching over! I find I have to traffic HuffPo and other 'left leaning' Web sites these days to find people even willing to listen to what Ron Paul is saying. I have had to abandon, in utter disgust, the usual 'right leaning' political sites and blogs I once bookmarked.

Thanks again for spreading the word!
