Reuters:

Starbucks Corp, the world's biggest coffee shop chain, recalled 250,000 children's plastic cups made in China after receiving reports of the cups breaking and posing a choking hazard.

No injuries were reported, the CPSC said in a statement.

Why are kids drinking Starbucks coffee??
Giving a child coffee equals child abuse.

What are the marketing people in Seattle thinking???

Must be repubs.

I wanna hear the Starbucks people tell us how competition forces them to buy cheap stuff and how they don't have the time or the inclination to test any of their stuff before they put it in their stores. This is indicative of the trend, folks. If you think that anything you buy has been tested for safety, you're a fool. It's really 'caveat emptor' out there, even more than ever.

My 2 1/2 year old daughter has the turtle cup. That's Starbucks crossed off my list. And mediamarv, don't be a moron, the fact that someone buys a plastic cup at starbucks in which you could put something like, oh, I don't know, milk or water, doesn't equate to kids drinking coffee. take off the tinfoil hat for a second.
