The Cypriot-born eccentric Stelios Arcadious spent 10 years searching for a surgeon willing to perform the controversial operation.

My first thought when I saw this on the television news last night on CNN--hire this guy as the new Verizon Spokesman NOW! I can see it now: the current Verizon geek walks up to this freek and says "Can You Hear Me Now?". Mr. Arcadious puts his arm around the Verizon dude and says "Now I can!"
There's got to be a fetish out there for this type of thing.
Now if he can just find a surgeon willing to remove his head from up his ass.
I suppose we should be glad it wasn't implanted in his foreskin by mistake.
All he needs now is to have a mouth implanted in the implanted ear and his forearm will look like the cover of a Manfred Mann album.
Who knows, next he'll want to be see things from a different point of view.

I think the science behind this is marvelous and is great for medical applications. As art? I can take a bowl of my own excrement and make shampoo out of it. Then I can use it for weeks until maggots begin to live in my hair. That is about as savory as looking at this piece of "art."
